1955 Chevy First Series Pick Up Truck on 2040-cars

I am listing a 1955 Chevy step side pick up truck for a friend and wants me to handle the sale and transaction. I drove this truck and it runs and drives good for being almost 60 years old. The six cylinder and 4 speed trans work good together with the stock suspension. The interior has two nice power bucket seats they might be out of a BMW. All the lights work and has a new painless 12 volt wiring harness with aftermarket vintage ac that blows cold. The roof of this truck has rust and the floor of the bed has a piece of diamond plate and would need a total restoration. The rims are steel 8 lug they have some rust and tires are in good shape, with new wheel cylinders and wheel bearings just recently done. All of the glass is in good shape except for drivers side it has a crack .Overall not bad for some one who wants a project for the winter or just drive it the way it is. Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.

Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year.
