1977 Chevy C 1500 Flareside 2wd Black on 2040-cars
Lisbon, Iowa, United States
IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A NICE TRUCK FOR CRUISING IN,OR EVEN A CAR SHOW ,HERE YOU GO. BETWEEN MYSELF AND THE PREVIOUS OWNER , WHO IS A FRIEND OF MINE THIS TRUCK HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN IN THE WINTER, OR EVEN THE RAIN FOR THE PAST 30 YEARS. ITS BEEN STORED INSIDE A CLIMATE CONTROLLED GARAGE, AND NOT SURE IT HAS SPENT A NIGHT OUTSIDE..
THE TRUCK HAS BEEN LOWERED SOME. I HAD A 383 BUILT WITH ALL GOOD PARTS, STEEL CRANK, KIETH BLACK PISTONS, ALUMINUM ANGLE PLUG HEADS, ALUMINUM INTAKE, CERAMIC HEADERS, ROLLER ROCKERS AND MORE.IT HAS A CARTER CARBURETOR ON IT NOW AND I ALSO HAVE A HOLLEY I WILL LET GO WITH IT. BOTH WERE NEW WHEN ENGINE WAS BUILT ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. I HAVE PUT ONLY ABOUT 800 MILES ON IT. I HAD 7000.00 INVESTED IN THE ENGINE. TIRES AND RIMS ARE ALL NEW.
PAINT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, EXCEPT FOR A SMALL SURFACE RUST SPOT ON FRONT EDGE OF THE HOOD.
THE TRUCK RUNS GREAT AND SOUNDS EVEN BETTER WITH THE DUAL EXHAUST AND CAM THAT IS IN IT. SOME WHERE IN THE 400 HP RANGE. THE TRUCK JUST SITS AND I JUST DONT HAVE TIME TO GET IT OUT AND ENJOY IT, SO TIME TO SELL. IT RUNS DOWN THE HWY LIKE A NEW ONE.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it
Wed, 06 Nov 2013We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own
Tue, 22 Jan 2013It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
