Has light swirl marks in finish but the paint is still shiny and glossy and looks great up close and far away. A few dings and dents on the body and the rear trunk lid / spoiler. Trunk-mounted spoiler is starting to bubble/crack and separate near the bottom. Light rubbing where the t-tops were stored in the hatchback. Overall an impressive example of a 1990 Twin Turbo but it's not brand new. Mechanically sound and well maintained."

1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo

Selling a superb example of the first year ZX featuring the 3.0L V6 181 Cubic Inch engine.  This car was babied and upgraded throughout its life and an extensive and detailed list of upgrades and maintenance is listed below.  Bid with confidence, this is the Z you've been dreaming of. The combination of a twin turbo engine with rear wheel drive paired with a 5-spd manual transmission makes for one of the most intense driving experiences you'll have with a car, period.

I have a lot of time and money invested in this beautiful car but realize that when we have a nice day in Minnesota, I'm far more likely to take the motorcycle out and the ZX shouldn't be second in line and deserves a new home where she will be driven and shown off. This Z has never seen snow and has only been caught in the rain on rare occasion. This car was not raced and except for normal maintenance (belts, spark plugs, fluids, etc), the engine is stock.

The vehicle has a clean and clear title, no accidents, non-smoking interior. Title in-hand and ready for the new owner.

Infiniti's new Design Director is American Alfonso Albaisa

Fri, 10 May 2013

The man responsible for creating the sleek 2010 Nissan Ellure Concept you see above is now the design director for Infiniti. Alfonso Albaisa (shown at right) has been a member of the Nissan design team for 25 years, but was recently promoted to executive design director for the Infiniti brand.
His past roles at Nissan have included design director for Nissan from 2004 to 2007, vice president of Nissan Design Europe from 2007 to 2011, vice president of Nissan Design America in 2011 and, most recently, he held the title of Nissan's global design director. Aside from Ellure, Albaisa was also responsible for designing the 2012 Nissan Xtrem Concept, "key strategic production vehicles soon to be launched" and he's even contributed to a handful of Infiniti designs. Nissan GT-R Nismo 'Ring time makes it track's 'fastest volume production car' [w/video]

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Performance cars are fun to drive and all, but at the end of the day ,owners drop big bucks on what are often ridiculously unpractical vehicles for the bragging rights. And when it comes to ultimate bragging rights, few get more publicized than lap times for everyone's favorite stretch of German pavement, the Nürburgring. Enter the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo.
After rumors about a 7:08 lap time appeared yesterday, Nissan confirmed has confirmed the news today with video footage of the run, which took place on September 30. The official lap time is just seven minutes and 8.679 seconds, putting the GT-R Nismo about 11 seconds off the pace of the Porsche 918 Spyder - some six seconds quicker than the far costlier Lexus LFA. Some admitted - but hard-to-spot - missteps by Nissan driver Michael Krumm would indicate that the car actually left some time on the table.
With this time, Nissan claims that the 595-horsepower GT-R Nismo is the "fastest volume production car" around the track. The definition of "volume" could surely be contested here, though, considering the small numbers in which the GT-R is sold. While we don't have global GT-R sales figures, this year has only seen 1,063 units sold through October, and there were close to 1,300 sold in all of 2011 and about 1,200 in 2012. While this loosely defined claim will only add to the Nürburgring lap time squabbling, it is no less impressive. Check out the record run for yourself in the video below, which is accompanied by an official press release.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: July-September 2013

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

This Nissan is the most in-demand long-term vehicle we've ever had.
They may not readily fall into the sweet spot of driving enthusiasts, but our year-long test of this Nissan is proving to be an object lesson in why crossovers are so popular - especially large ones like our three-row Pathfinder. In fact, it's been so busy that it's hardly been at a standstill long enough to pen an update, which is why this one is late. Simply put, this Nissan is the most in-demand long-term vehicle we've ever had, racking up more miles and more long-distance trips than any LT vehicle in the Autoblog stable.
