This car has been in the family since it was purchased in early 1980 by my Uncle, as the second owner. The first owner thought it was too fast and didn't want it anymore. It was my uncle's daily driver, and as a sales person he drove it from Riverside, CA to Fort Irwin and everywhere in between every day. He paid as much attention to the care and maintenance of the car as he did the rest of the family. My uncle gave the car to my cousin as a project car, but my cousin died in a tragic motorcycle accident before he would do anything with it and I inherited it.

I've put nearly $1,000 into the engine, but
have done nothing to the interior or exterior, which is why I am asking $1,000. THIS IS A PROJECT CAR and has no title at the moment because my uncle lost it. I can get a title if you plan to get this car back on the road.  My get up and go for the love of rebuilding this car, got up and went as they say. Need the room and sad to see it go.

It's a brown/brown car with
t-tops. All the rubbers and gaskets of windows, doors and t-tops need to be replaced. It needs a complete interior to make it aesthetically pleasing. The title has been lost and nobody has done anything to get a copy. If you plan to drive it I will get you a clear title at no additional cost to this deal. Ask me any questions that you have and I'll answer the best that I can. I'm not a car salesman so you'll get the truth.

Infiniti moves to trademark Eau Rouge

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

With Formula One taking to Belgium and the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit this weekend - boasting a reputation as one of the most beautiful courses on the calendar - all eyes will likely be on the tricky Eau Rouge corner, which challenges drivers' high-speed car control over a rolling, tree-lined hill. Infiniti played on the turn's iconic legacy for its ruby red Q50 Eau Rouge concept, and now the brand hopes to trademark the famous racing name so it can keep using it for a potential production version.
In January, the company filed for a trademark on Eau Rouge for "Automobiles and their structural parts; Fuel cell automobiles and their structural parts; Concept cars" with the US Patent and Trademark Office. According to Bloomberg, the application is still under consideration and not yet a guarantee. It's possible that the track could attempt to block the automaker from earning rights to the name. Alternatively, a trademark lawyer tells Bloomberg that the two of them could also strike a deal where Infiniti would pay a small amount for each car sold bearing the title, which could give Spa a bit of extra money in the bank.
Regardless of the name, a vehicle like the Eau Rouge is something enthusiasts have been wanting for years. It combines a modified, 560-horsepower version of the engine from the Nissan GT-R into a four-door sedan covered in aggressive, carbon fiber aerodynamic parts.

Nissan's new GT-R boss says next car will go for more volume

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Since its introduction in 2008, the Nissan GT-R has seen a steady increase of power and price almost every year, but the big news for the next-gen supercar might be an increase in production. Automotive News recently spoke with newly appointed GT-R chief engineer Kinishi Tanuma who said Nissan needs "more of a volume car." Nissan has sold a little more than 2,000 GT-Rs in the US since 2012 - 1,188 last year and 952 so far this year.
Of course, a key limiting factor in the GT-R's production is its hand-built engine. Currently, only four people are qualified to build the GT-R's twin-turbo V6, but Tanuma says a fifth is in training. Even if production numbers are raised, Nissan also wants to add more quality and value into the GT-R. There is still no word as to what kind of timeframe Nissan is looking to start pumping out more GT-Rs, but with a new Nismo model rumored to be bringing a two-second 0-60 time, demand is sure to be on the rise.

Did Nissan send a ringer GT-R to run the 'Ring? [w/video]

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

It turns out that after toting a 7:08 time around the fearsome Nürburgring Nordschleife for the new Nismo-tuned GT-R, Nissan might not have been entirely honest about the car it was using. From what we've been hearing from a few different publications, the GT-R featured in the video isn't what we're going to see on the production model.
PistonHeads reported on the so-called "Time Attack" GT-R while it was in Japan for the Tokyo Motor Show, going so far as to detail the differences between it and the standard GT-R Nismo. And friends, this isn't just a matter of swapping tires. The mods made to the Time Attack car are far more comprehensive.
For a start, the TA produces more downforce thanks to larger aerodynamic pieces. It's some 110 pounds lighter than the standard car, thanks to new bucket seats. The ECU and dampers have been swapped for new units, and the brake pads are different as well. If you've read this far, you might be feeling slightly angry or betrayed that Nissan is toting numbers for a modified car. Don't be.
