Very good condition 1997 Nissan 240SX for sale with S14 SR20DET Blacktop engine. I am only the second owner of this car and have taken very good care of this car, and I am only reluctantly selling it now due to it not being practical where I live. Because I have put in quite a bit of money into this car to perfect its performance, I would rather keep this car than sell it to just anyone. SERIOUS BIDS AND INQUIRIES ONLY: You really should be financially stable and/or be OVER 21 to even think about purchasing this car to maintain it properly, let alone afford premium parts. If you are the winner of this auction, I expect a nonrefundable $500 deposit immediately to secure and FULL payment of the balance within 5-7 business days. Here is a list of upgrades/mods: - S14 SR20DET blacktop engine with custom intercooler and custom widemouth air intake - AEM EMS with UEGO, professionally tuned (have not completely tuned for full potential RWHP, can have it professionally tuned and control boost as well for $500 over negotiated price) - Brand new Exedy Hyper Single Clutch (still breaking in!) - Z32 front brake conversion - Morimoto Bixenon HID lights - Stock suspension (I haven't drifted this car, but if that's what you want to do, I would learn on stock suspension first.) - Remote Viper keyless entry and alarm - Walbro fuel pump - Greddy (?) exhaust - Focal 15" rims - Battery in trunk - RAZO JDM shift knob Negotiable points - Front brakes and rotors may need to be replaced or at least looked at (mild rumbling when hitting brakes at >50-60MPH) - Mild scuffs on front and rear bumpers (I live and park in NYC, enough said) - Doesn't start immediately on cold days - Windshield washer reservoir and tubing have been removed and AC doesn't work |

Are you the 2015 Nissan Versa facelift?
Fri, 26 Jul 2013The current-generation Nissan Sunny - the overseas equivalent to the Versa sedan - has been around since 2010, and now it appears that Nissan has some small changes in store for it. Based on these small, dark and grainy photos from Chinese site, Auto Sohu, the Sunny could be set to receive a slight styling refresh.
From what we can tell, the biggest change will be to the headlights with the Sunny getting boomerang-style units similar those on current Nissan sedans in the US. We wouldn't be surprised to see these changes to carry over to our Versa sedan soon. Grille and fascia changes also seem to be in the works, but it's hard to make out any other changes from these images alone.
Nissan Murano production fires up in America for first time [w/video]
Fri, 07 Nov 2014Production of the new, third-generation Nissan Murano has finally kicked off at the company's Canton, MS factory, marking not only the eighth vehicle built on the facility's lines, but also the first global product to be built there since it opened in 2003.
"The strategic investments that Nissan has made in Canton serve as a testament to the flexibility, efficiency and talent of our workforce and suppliers," said John Martin, Nissan's boss for manufacturing, supply chain management and purchasing. "In Canton, we build high-quality vehicles that compete and win globally, and the bold new Murano will build on that reputation."
The addition of Murano production, which joins Altima, Armada, Titan, Frontier, Xterra and NV, brought a further 1,300 jobs.
Nissan NV200 Chicago Taxi looking for a #HailYes
Fri, 07 Feb 2014Nissan may be loaning out its small van to General Motors for its Chicago Auto Show debut, but that doesn't mean that Chevrolet is the only one with new NV200-based wares to share. On the heels of launching its Taxi Of Tomorrow for New York City, the Japanese automaker is giving America's Second City a livery of its own.
Shown here in a green and white paint scheme that "expresses a modern take on a historically popular Chicago taxi color," this NV200 Chicago Taxi is the company's less-than-subtle bid to capture some of the city's cab business, which is estimated to have about 7,000 units in service. Nissan is urging the public to generate discussion on social media and hopefully capture local taxi fleet operators' attention with a #HailYes campaign.
Beyond its unique appearance, this NV200 appears untouched, which means it's still powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine backed by a version of Nissan's ubiquitous XTronic continuously variable transmission.
