THIS IS MY 1978 DODGE D200 POWERWAGON 4X4 TRUCK AUTOMATIC IT COMES WITH A FRESH 440 THAT IS COMPLETLY MACHINED AND READY TO ASSEMBLE DO TO A ACCIDENT IM NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO FINISH THIS AWESOME TRUCK. THIS TRUCK IS UNCUT NOT LIFTED NOT BEAT UP AND IS A SURVIOR. FIRST THE BODY THE INSIDE BED IS AWESOME NOT RUST OR ROT. TRUCK WAS PAINTED ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO. SMALL DENT BY THE SIDE MIRRORS I HAVE THE ORIGINALS TOOK THEM OFF. DOOR JAMS GOOD PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR IS RUSTY BUT NO ROT DRIVE SIDE HAS LITTLE ROT FROMT THE PIC. PAINT STILL LOOKS GOOD NO WAX AND HASNT BEEN SHINED UP IN A WHILE . I HAVE A TAIL GATE BUT IT IS A DIFFERANT COLOR. TIRES ARE NICE 31 INCH HAVE EXTRA WHEEL I BELIEVE THESE ARE ORIGINAL BEEN OFFERD A BUNCH OF MONEY JUST FOR THE WHEEL CUS IWAS TOLD THEY ARE FACTORY . TRUCK LOOKS GOOD . THE ENGINE HAS BEEN TOTALY MACHINED READY FOR ASSEMBLY 440 1973 BLOCK BORED.040 OVER. CAM BEARINGS IN HOT TANKED SOLID BLOCK. DECK WAS PLANED . HEADS ARE COMPLETE TOP OF THE LINE EVERYTHING AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PIC VALVES SEATS GUIDES SPRINGS COMPLETLY NEW . PISTONS ARE KEITH BLACK VALVE RELIEF WITH MOLLY RINGS ON THEM READY TO GO IN . NEW SLIGHT CAM , LIFTERS, . YOU WILL NEED GASKET SET . I HAVE OLD HARDWARE BUT I WOULD BUY NEW . THIS ENGINE IS ABOUT 9.6 :1 COMPRESSION ALL WORK HAS BEEN DONE BUY THE RACE SHOP IN DECATUR IL HAVE BUILD SHEETS OVER 5K IN ENGINE . THIS ENGINE IN THIS TRUCK WOULD BE BAD NEWS. Dodge to sell off first Challenger SRT Hellcat for charity

Want to get your hands on a new 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, and can't wait to be the first to get one? Las Vegas will be the place to be on September 27. That's where Barrett-Jackson will auction off the very first example. And you'd better bring your checkbook, because the bidding is sure to be fierce with all the proceeds going to charity.
The supercharged Challenger with VIN 0001 has been hand-painted in Stryker Red (usually reserved for the Viper) and features special badging, documentation and accompanying memorabilia - not to mention, of course, that 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8. The car will be on display this weekend as well at Barrett-Jackson's Hot August Nights auction in Reno.
Has Dodge stepped in it again with Scat Pack lawsuit?
Mon, 20 Oct 2014Lawsuits are an unfortunate part of doing business in just about any industry, so the latest complaint filed by a California-based aftermarket firm against Chrysler would seem to be nothing more than business as usual. But this isn't the first time the two companies have sparred over this particular issue.
According to a report from Automotive News, the dispute revolves around the Scat Pack name that Chrysler first offered on the Charger, Coronet, Dart and Super Bee starting in 1968. Scat Enterprises, a manufacturer of crankshafts and other components for Dodges and other vehicles, sued Chrysler for using its name. A few years later the Scat Pack disappeared from the Dodge catalog.
Fast forward to August 2013 when Chrysler applied to register the Scat Pack name anew. The US Patent and Trademark Office turned down Chrysler's application, but the automaker proceeded anyway, unveiling new Scat Packs for the Challenger, Charger and Dart at last year's SEMA show.
Roadkill pits every project car against each other
Sat, 22 Feb 2014The guys behind Motor Trend's monthly Roadkill series have collected nine of their favorite project cars from their videos and pitted them against each other in a battle royale to determine a winner. It's 44 minutes long, but it's completely worth the investment of time.
The cars run the gamut from a 1973 Chevrolet Ramp Truck, a 1975 AMC Pacer and a legitimately impressive 1967 Chevy Camaro, and they are pitted against each other to see which is the fastest around an autocross course. The drivers include Roadkill's two hosts and Motor Trend's Johnny Lieberman and Carlos Lago. It's reminiscent of the best episodes of Top Gear and worth a watch.
So it's the weekend - the perfect time to relax. Grab your preferred beverage, get comfortable and enjoy 44 minutes of some seriously ratty but utterly cool project cars as they are throttled within an inch of their lives (or past it). Scroll down to check out the video.
