I am selling my 1969 Dodge Charger. It has a 1968 nose/ front end on it at this time. It has a 318 v8 motor, automatic transmission and 8 3/4 rearend. The motor is seized and will need rebuilding. I dont know about the tranny as the motor doesn't run. The rearend seems fine, but is not a sure-grip unit. It comes with four vintage slotted rims on it and a spare slotted front rim. It came with factory air conditioning, power steering and power brakes. The power steering box is there as is the booster for the power brakes but the air condition system is not there. The dash and fire wall has the holes for it and pieces of the hoses are still there.  I have the rear seat for it but left it out for the pictures, both front and rear seats will need recovering. The rear window was broken when a tree fell on it. I dont have a rear window but I do have another chrome piece for the side of the rear window. I dont have the two little corner piece's for the bottom of the window. I do have all the chrome to go around the windshield. The unibody frame is good but has one bad spot. Its around the rear springs front mount on the passenger side. The rest of the subframe looks ok. The inner fender's under the hood look very good but has the normal rusted out battery box. As with all these old charger's, it will need a few body panels. The trunk, floors and rear quarters are in need of replacing. The nose is 1968 and is in need of work or replacing. This Charger will require a total restoration but AMD is making all the body panel's it needs as well as a new 69 nose/ fenders and hood. I have a clear N.H. title to go with it. These are getting harder to find in any condition and 69's are considered to be the most desirable to some people.

I except pay pal and require a $500 deposit same day as auctions end. Final, total payment is due within a week of the auctions end. Buyer is responsable for pickup from here in N.H. Sale is final and as is, no warrenty.

Thanks for looking.

Dodge unveils Special Service Durango for government fleets

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

Straight off its refresh, the Dodge Durango is slipping back into its dress blues and getting back to work. The 2014 Dodge Durango Special Service Vehicle boasts all the refinements and improvements that the refreshed, civilian-spec model received, most notably a 15-percent improvement in fuel economy.
Designed for police and fire departments, and as Chrysler's answer to the Ford Police Interceptor Utility and Chevrolet Tahoe PPV in the growing service SUV market, the Durango boasts a 600-mile range, thanks to the addition of an eight-speed automatic, available on both the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Equipped with the 360-horsepower Hemi, the Durango SSV can tow up to 7,400 pounds (the V6 is limited to 6,200 pounds).
Police and fire department Durangos get a few special features over the civilian models. The electric systems are ruggedized, with a heavy duty battery and a 220-amp alternator in place, while the engine's water pump and oil cooler are both stronger. The brakes are tougher, and a load-leveling suspension has been fitted, too.

2013 Dodge Durango R/T

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Not too long ago, Chevrolet got itself into some trouble by throwing the SS badge on just about everything it produced, so I've always been a little hesitant about the seemingly excessive use of the R/T nameplate on Dodge vehicles. For the 2013 model year, every model in Dodge's lineup has an R/T trim level from Dart all the way up to the Durango. Although the R/T name used to signified models made for road and track, I doubt anyone would be delusional enough to assume the Durango - and some of the other models wearing this badge - are suited for any sort of track duty.
Still, when this 2013 Dodge Durango R/T rolled up for me to drive for the week, I couldn't help but take in its big, mean and imposing stance. Sure, if I had my choice of buying any of the Dodge R/T products, the Charger and Challenger would be my top picks for sure, but it's easy to say that the Durango would be a close third - far above the R/T versions of the Avenger, Journey and Grand Caravan.
