2009 Bmw M3 on 2040-cars
Earlham, Iowa, United States
Feel free to email: alyseaggrosse@bandits.org .
Hello! I'm selling my E92 M3 6-speed with 72k . Just replaced BOTH throttle body actuator a month ago. Car runs PERFECT. Comes with both
sets of rims (ONE OFF Custom Rennen 3 piece 20" rims and tires, and black powder coated oem rims and tires). I have
pictures of several installs and paperwork. No trades.
This M3 has every one of the features: carbon fiber roof (behind the front and rear bumpers are carbon fiber
reinforcements also), M drive, premium sound and technology package, Sirius Satellite ready, wireless data link
bluetooth, keyless start, tire pressure system, dynamic damper control, comfort access control, retractable
armrest, auto dimming mirror with compass, auto dimming side mirrors, rear window power sunblind, ski bag (I wanted
this to open the truck up for the subwoofer bass to pass through), heated seats, headlight washers, backup sensors,
rain sensor, navigation, adaptive headlights (these are AMAZING!).
Now for what's added: Carbon fiber: front grills, APR splitter, side markers, steering wheel trim, hood scoops,
emblems. Dinan strut tower braces, and Dinan pedals. Upgraded led halos. Custom axle back "exhaust mod" done by
Dakota Muscle Cars. Extended Apex 75mm wheel studs with nuts. Front red intake scoops behind kidney bean grills,
God Speed "no drill towing hook" front license plate holder, PASSPORT 9500CI radar detector and laser jammer (the
jammer is 100% legal in most states, but please check local laws. The jammer portion can easily be turned off also.
This works amazing as tested by my girlfriend who is a police officer for North Sioux City Police Dept), all led
interior lighting, wired for a subwoofer (works in with fiber optics stereo system), neochrome headlight tinting
(does not lessen the light output at all), tinted windows and windshield strip.
New oil change, engine air filter, cabin air filters, all eight tires are like new, brakes, brake pad sensor, both
front cross drill/slotted floating rotors, B1S1 and B2S2 o2 sensors, throttle body actuators, Tps sensor.
Depending on what the offer is will depend on what is sold with the car (which or both sets of wheels, radar,
coding, etc).
The car has been coded to my prefrences- mirrors fold in when locked, corner light delete mod, brake force display
mod, etc. I can sell the programmer and coding tool in addition to the car as well.
This car is AMAZING and turns heads nonstop.

2013 BMW X1
Tue, 23 Apr 2013A Tasty Bit Of Old School For The New School
Against the backdrop of fervent hand-wringing from brand purists, BMW is on the cusp of finally offering front-wheel-drive vehicles. While that's a shock to the constitution, many are pointing to the company's fine-handling Mini offerings as an article of faith that it can get this drivetrain paradigm shift right. That may be true, but there's an even more important lesson that Mini has taught the decision-makers in Munich: how to make real money on small cars.
Before Mini came along, BMW - along with seemingly every other premium European automaker - never really figured out how to coax big dollars out of American wallets without developing cars that had large footprints, at least those other than sports cars. While the automaker really got rolling in America on the strength of little bantamweights like the 2002, it veered away from small cars sometime in the '80s. BMW subsequently crashed and burned with the cut-and-shut 318ti built off its E36 3 Series and, good as it is, the 1 Series hasn't given the company meaty volume or profits, either. Among other brands, the Audi A3 has never rung up big numbers, and the less said about the painful sales figures of the Volvo C30, the better. But Mini has beat the odds, blazing a more affordable and evidently compelling trail. As of late, the company's Countryman softroader has been a massive hit worldwide. No surprise then that BMW has reconsidered bringing over its smallest softroader, the X1, to the US.
2013 BMW M6 Coupe
Wed, 12 Jun 2013The Act And The Exclamation
The 2013 BMW M6 is a rolling obscenity - one that begins with the capital letter "F." It is both the act and the exclamation, the curse and the encouragement. It courts no logic. It is all want and no need, and it is unbecoming of the BMW roundel. Whereas the brand's products once strove to unite man and machine in a duet of blissful performance, the M6 seems built solely to stand between the driver and the road. You are very clearly in its way every second you're behind the wheel, slowing it down and generally being the Monday morning to its two-day trance festival. It's clear this car is very fast, but it has no interest in making you fast in the way that the M3 or even the M5 are wont to do.
But somehow, all that doesn't stop the car from stoking every last lick of lust in your gut. A 560-horsepower twin-turbocharged V8 will do that for you.
2015 BMW i8: Autoblog Technology of the Year finalist
Wed, 19 Nov 2014
Traditionally, nominations for the Autoblog Technology of the Year award are earned for specific developments - a new-think powertrain, a uniquely developed material, a groundbreaking smartphone app, or what have you. In the case of BMW's marvelous i8, it so bristles with novel applied sciences and fresh features that we broke with tradition and nominated the entire car.
We just couldn't help ourselves. Oh, we could've focused on the i8's carbon-fiber monocoque, or its well-resolved plug-in-hybrid powertrain that incorporates a tiny 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and an electric motor, or its seamless through-the-road all-wheel drive. This is a car that will even have frickin' laser beams for headlights - at least it will for our friends in Europe (and it will in the US, should our legislators ever catch up).
