I have been doing business with Absolute Mobility since 2003, before they moved to their new location in Woodinville. This business has rave reviews and adequate customer service, UNLESS you question them about pricing or bills. They have inaccurately billed my insurance company on two different items. They have also billed me for their contracted write off, claiming "upgrades." (I have no upgrades). They were generous enough to provide me with a loaner wheelchair (hence the one star), while my chair was in for warrant... view morey repair. However, on more than one occasionan, when I was questioning the bill, I was reminded of how grateful I should be because of my loaner chair, "afterall, you could be stuck laying in a bed if you didn`t have that chair." Very unkind. AMC held my chair "for ransom" following its repair until I settled my bill (the contract write off amount). I was threatened with 1) collections, 2) "let the courts decide about the bill", and finally, 3) "if you don`t come in and pick up your chair, I`m going to give it away." This was the first I knew it was ready to pick up (5 weeks later, despite multiple followups). The insurance company contacted them on multiple occasions to let them know they could not bill for the contracted write off. It wasn`t until KOMO4 Problem Solvers were involved did we learn we would not be billed or sent to collections. However, because AMC feels they have only lost money on my chair, they have refused to service it in the future. My warranty period isn`t even half gone!
