Thanks for looking!

VIN: 1FAFP45X82F160040

Serial number: 2002-047, Verified by Steeda Autosports
Color: Black exterior, Dark Charcoal interior, Black convertible top

Vehicle was originally sold by Cowles Ford of Woodbridge, VA back in 2002.
I am the 3rd owner (according to Carfax) and I purchased it in Warrenton, VA with 45,500 miles in 2005.

The vehicle is currently in Woodbridge, VA and now has 80,650 miles and the car is still driven from time to time so mileage will increase.

This Mustang is from the Steeda Autosports Serialized Vehicle Program and comes with exclusive Steeda engine badging, graphics, decals, and serial number plate and was modified at Steeda Autosports in Pompano Beach, FL. Car has 3 sets of keys and remote keyless entry fobs and owner's manual pack.

I drove the car to CT for memorial day weekend (1000+ miles round trip) and there were no issues. I got 27 mpg on the highway both ways!  That's even better than my 2000 Nissan Maxima!  Normal around the town driving, it gets around 15-19 mpg depending on how much fun I'm having or how bad the traffic and short the trips are, etc... city driving, :)  but overall mixed driving it's around 20-24 mpg.  I use 93 octane gas because the Steeda timing adjuster is set for 3 degrees above factory setting for more responsive throttle and more power.  If you want to use 87 octane gas, dial it back to factory setting...

Features:

AC, pwr steering, pwr brakes, 4 wheels ABS disc brakes, traction control, fog lights, MACH 460 stereo system, Harman Kardon Drive+Play IPOD controller,  power convertible top with heated rear glass, leather seats, 6 way power driver seat with power air bladder lumbar support, pwr mirrors, remote trunk release, compact spare and jack/tool,  4.6L SOHC V-8 engine, Tremec TR3650 5 speed transmission, synthetic oil changes.

The car comes equipped from the factory with subframe braces and a lower K-member tie bar under the engine (the convertibles do), a comprehensive set of Steeda engineered, manufactured, and installed parts that include billet aluminum switches, covers, handles, pedals, knobs, plates, shifter, springs, braces and performance parts.  I've since added additional pieces in additional to what the car was originally equipped by Steeda.  It will also come with 2 sets of wheels and tires.

Performance parts includes:

  • Steeda strut tower brace
  • K&N FIPK intake kit
  • Steeda underdrive pulleys

Ken Block walks you through his new 'Hoonigan Racing' HQ

Tue, 24 Jun 2014

Ken Block seems like one hell of a nice guy. I ran into him at CES this past January, and he dropped the video games he was playing to chat with me for a while. His crew also recently gave our Steve Ewing a tour of the offices you're about to see on this video. Good guy to know.
As it turns out, they're some fairly cool new digs. Dubbed 'Hoonigan Racing Division HQ,' the office is open to Ford Focus ST and Fiesta ST owners who attend the driving program offered out at Miller Motorsports Park. The very same program that Ewing reported on just recently.
Or, if you've no plans to buy an ST or travel to Utah any time soon, you can let Block show you around himself in this MTV Cribs-style video. With interior decorating that relies heavily on shipping containers and luxurious amenities like a ping pong table, 10 refrigerators and a bear(?), there's no lack of eye-candy in the driverly HQ. (Judging by Block's outfit, you'll probably not go thirsty if you're a Monster drinker, either.) Take the tour along with the Gymkhana master, below.

Ford trademarking 'Mach 1,' possibly for Mustang

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

A legendary name might be accompanying the redesigned, 2015 Mustang when it finally makes its world debut - Mach 1. Stumbled upon by the team at Ford Authority, the Mach 1 title was found in a trademark filing with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and would revive a name last used on the fourth-generation, 2003 Mustang.
While the the 2003 vintage was well and good, the Mach 1 is really remembered for a three-year run from 1969 to 1971 - it's best to just forget the emissions-choked 1972 to 1978 Mach 1s - when power output ranged from a modest 250 horsepower with the two-barrel, 351-cubic-inch Windsor V8 to "375 hp" (actual output was rumored to be well north of 400 horsepower) with the righteous, 429-cubic-inch Super Cobra Jet V8.
What does the title hold for the sixth-generation Mustang? It's tough to say. The fanatics at Ford Authority seem to think Mach 1 could take the place of the Shelby GT500 at the top of the Mustang hierarchy, which sounds like a valid argument. At the same time, we could see the SVT Cobra moniker returning for the flagship model, and the Mach 1 doing battle with the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (unless the Boss 302 were to return). Confounding things is the historical precedent - the Mach 1 was responsible for the death of the Mustang GT in 1969, so it might make sense as a volume performance model.

USPS releases hot rod stamps to speed up your delivery

Sun, 08 Jun 2014

After one of the worst winters in recent memory for much of the country, summer is finally here. It's time to drop the top, open the sunroof or at least put down the windows and take a long drive. The United States Postal Service is celebrating the season's sun in automotive style with two new hot rod Forever stamps.
Both stamps depict classic '32 Ford hot rods. One shows the car from the front at a low angle in red (pictured above), while the other depicts the car from the back in black with flames running down the side.
To introduce the new stamps on their first day of availability, the USPS went straight to the source at the National Street Rod Association Street Rod Nationals in York, PA. They were unveiled by Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe, Car Crazy host Barry Meguiar and NSRA Special Events Director Jerry Kennedy.
