Welcome, and thank you for taking a look at this beautiful 2008 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ. I have owned this vehicle for almost 2 years and in that time this car has been nothing but perfect. I bought the car from Dwayne Lane's in Washington State and they have provided the vehicle with perfect service. Oil is changed regularly and the vehicle has been garaged for the winter. I am selling the vehicle because we are a family of eight and have purchased a larger vehicle. The Malibu is extremely fun to drive and handles well...Not to mention it gets very good gas mileage at around 27-30 MPG without a lead foot. When purchased the vehicle was GM Certified and only had 29,000 miles. The car now has 41,000 miles showing that it is only driven when the weather is nice. Kelly Blue Book on this vehicle is over 16k with the options and mileage. The car only has light wear to the exterior and I try to keep a coat of wax on. Interior wise the leather is in very good condition and is extremely easy to clean and take care of. Plus on the cold days both seats are heated! As you can see I have done some things like installing a billet grill and removing the Malibu symbols in order to make it more sleek. I will also include the original grill. The vehicle has not been driven hard (Family man). This is a car will turn heads as it always gets compliments every where we go. 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.
