EVERYTHING on this car works!!!!!!!
Well, everything but the power door locks, they work with the key and the slider but the power switch for the door locks doesn't. EVERYTHING else on this car works!

This is a non turbo car, 2.2 liter 4 cylinder, I believe 135 horsepower and I believe the car only weighs around 2600 pounds!

This car is almost 100% completely stock! Good luck finding one of these that hasn't been modified completely! I had tint put on the windows and the front parking lights and turn signals, I also had red tint put on the amber part of the tail lights. There is a Sony AV CENTER-64BT in it, very nice, but everything else on the car is STOCK! I also have the original stereo for the car, plus the owner's manual, some repair manuals , the Sony Manual and some original paperwork from the dealer!

I have had this car for only 4 months and I love it! I do not want to sell this car but I just don't fit in it!. I am 6 foot one and 240 pounds. I like to sit upright and if I adjust the seat to where my back doesn't hurt then my head hits the roof!

This car has been 100% reliable for me and gets 25 mpg or better, and that's in town!
My feedback is 100% so you can believe me when I say this is a great car, I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It is ready to be driven home by the buyer!

This MR2 is 100% mechanically sound and ready for the road and the A/C works great! Again, Everything works, turn signals, interior lights, horn, cruise control, etc !

The only Bad:
There is a tiny wear on the drivers seat (see picture)
There are two touched up paint chips on the rear spoiler (see pictures)
The front and rear bumpers (plastic) need to be repainted but they are presentable
The paint has faded a little on the rear view mirrors and spoiler and bumper plastic and door handles (see pics)
There is a small wave in the drivers front fender (see pic), hardly noticeable
There is a small couple of dings that would not photograph and are not noticeable on passenger rear fender.
The rear tires are really worn down but the fronts are great.

If you have any questions feel free to call me - 850-329-6618  leave a message if I don't answer and I will return your call promptly!

I am not a dealer! I bought this car for myself for gas mileage but I am just too darn big for it! I bought this locally in my neighborhood! I really don't want to get rid of her!

TMG's super Lexus LS Sports 650 gets track tested

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

The people at Toyota Motorsport GmbH have been responsible for the Japanese automaker's motorsports efforts since the 1970s, but since Toyota pulled out of Formula One after the 2009 season, the tuning shop has been developing a super sedan based on the Lexus LS called the Sports 650. Details on TMG's first road car have been scarce, but XCAR was recently invited to drive the 641-horsepower Lexus on track.
Here's what we know: the Sports 650 has enough power to sprint to 60 miles per hour in under four seconds, tops out at 199 mph, weighs over two tons and utilizes LFA brakes. Oh, and its twin-turbo V8 bellows like an AMG V8. That last part isn't surprising when considering TMG could become Toyota's in-house tuning arm - like AMG is to Mercedes-Benz. As for the bespoke body kit, fender flares and stacked exhaust pipes? They fit the car well and even remind us a bit of Lexus' other high-performance sedan, the IS F. Currently there are no plans for the Sports 650 to be made into a production car, but we doubt TMG is devoting this much effort developing the LS into a road-rocket for nothing.
Check out XCAR's video below to see the AMG-fighter wrung out on track, and then ponder what could be if TMG were let loose to fiddle with other cars in Lexus' lineup. Now that's something we could get used to!

How Charlotte lost to Plano without even knowing it was dealing with Toyota

Thu, 08 May 2014

With Toyota set to relocate its North American headquarters to the Dallas, TX suburb of Plano following a top-secret, 100-city search, the cities that missed out can now begin asking themselves what happened during a process they apparently knew little about.
That's a particularly brutal task for Charlotte, which, according to North Carolina's Secretary of Commerce, Sharon Decker, finished second to Plano. While Toyota has been fairly open about what it was looking for in a new headquarters city - direct flights to Japan, proximity to its US production facilities, a lower cost of living, high-quality educational facilities and finding a neutral site suitable to the California, Kentucky and New York-based employees that would be relocated - it's been less open about how the finalist cities, which also included Atlanta and Denver, stacked up against each other.
The Charlotte Observer has a few ideas. Part of the problem is the distinct lack of direct flights between Charlotte and Asia. US Airways, which operates a hub at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, doesn't fly to Asia.

Toyota C-HR hybrid crossover coupe concept leak ahead of Paris

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Last week, Toyota previewed an upcoming concept called the C-HR and promised it would debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. It didn't say much more or give us anything beyond a silhouette and the shape of the lights, but here we have the first images of the finalized form.
The C-HR envisions a hybrid crossover coupe with angular styling that looks ready to take on the Nissan Juke. It's far sportier than a RAV4, and looks closer to how we'd imagine the next-generation Scion FR-S would look like if it were riding on a jacked-up suspension - with some show car elements thrown in for good measure, like a gloating roof, radical lighting and the usual absence of door handles and usable wing mirrors.
Of course, this being a Toyota concept, it packs a hybrid powertrain, although specifications did not leak out along with the images. Overall the form looks pretty striking, if decidedly unsubtle. We'll look forward to bringing you more as the Paris show rapidly approaches.
