Up for auction a VERY NICE ASE mechanic owned MR2 well cared for and updated. This car was being redone for the purpose of keeping it for a long time. Engine was replaced with a used low mileage 60000 mile engine from a reputable salvage yard in 2013. This car runs, handles and rides great with the updated NEW suspension. Car was stored indoor heated garage during the winter. No short cuts or skimping. Engine is smooth no smoke or oil leak. Smooth shifting as your cruising with the top off, remember summers coming. The original mileage is 216807 but the actual mileage on this since used engine install is about 200 miles Guesstimate would be 60200 miles.. AC and Heat works great as well as power windows. This car has updated HID CONVERSION KIT WITH HALO ANGEL EYE LIGHTS / 8000 K . You can actually enjoy driving at night with great illumination. Exterior paint was done in 2013 so looks as nice as it runs. Also the tires are so NEW you can still see the numbers on them and writing on the tires in the pics. Thu, 31 Oct 2013Toyota has six vehicles that it's bringing to the Specialty
Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show next week, all of which were developed by and for people who live active lifstyles. Four of them are the result of the Toyota Dream Build Challenge, which tasked a team of athletes and vehicle customization shops to build Toyota sedans, pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles in seven weeks that would enhance performance in their respective sports.
We'll lead off with the CamRally Camry, developed by NASCAR driver Parker Kligerman, Kyle Busch Motorsports and Mooresville, NC shop Detroit Speed, Inc. for the Dream Build Challenge, because it appeals to us gearheads (sure, call us one-sided). It was totally transformed into a rally vehicle, and it has to be the most badass Camry we can remember seeing. The sedan is always a bit flaccid-looking in stock form, but the CamRally's wide body and other exterior upgrades and the turbocharger make us forget about that, as do its stripped, painted interior and Sparco race seat.
Toyota C-HR hybrid crossover coupe concept leak ahead of Paris
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Last week, Toyota previewed an upcoming concept called the C-HR and promised it would debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. It didn't say much more or give us anything beyond a silhouette and the shape of the lights, but here we have the first images of the finalized form.
The C-HR envisions a hybrid crossover coupe with angular styling that looks ready to take on the Nissan Juke. It's far sportier than a RAV4, and looks closer to how we'd imagine the next-generation Scion FR-S would look like if it were riding on a jacked-up suspension - with some show car elements thrown in for good measure, like a gloating roof, radical lighting and the usual absence of door handles and usable wing mirrors.
Of course, this being a Toyota concept, it packs a hybrid powertrain, although specifications did not leak out along with the images. Overall the form looks pretty striking, if decidedly unsubtle. We'll look forward to bringing you more as the Paris show rapidly approaches.
