This incredible 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser is up for sale. Purchased on 8/6/14 from an Atlanta area dealership with
17,439 miles by Speedy Oil Change, Inc. in Tuscaloosa. Scheduled maintenance is all on record with Speedy Oil
Change, Inc. All Land Cruisers come with a factory 60,000 mile power train warranty. There are 10'000 miles of
power-train warranty still left on the vehicle. We stand behind the warranty.
The reason for selling this vehicle is that I purchased a 2016 model Land Cruiser. I do not want to sell this 2013
but I cannot justify having two of the same model. This vehicle has incredible power and has a cloud like ride.
This vehicle was adult driven and never used for towing or driving off-road. All tires and spare are in great
shape. It is in excellent shape on the interior and exterior. All service and maintenance was performed regularly
and can be made available upon request.
This Land Cruiser has been a dream to own and drive. If you're familiar with the Land Cruiser family of vehicles,
you'll know that this is an extremely rare find considering the year, mileage and price. I hope you enjoy this Land
Cruiser as much as we have.

BMW, Toyota outline new tech joint venture, new sports car
Fri, 25 Jan 2013Back in June, Toyota and BMW announced a "memorandum of understanding" outlining plans for the two companies to join forces on future products and technology development. On Thursday, they signed a more formal and binding agreement that goes further into detail about the partnership, and it all sounds pretty exciting. The two announced they will work together in four main areas:
Joint development of a fuel cell system
"Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle"
Toyota Camry re-earns CR 'Recommended' rating following crash tests
Thu, 19 Dec 2013All is right again in the Toyota kingdom. The Japanese manufacturer's bread-and-butter sedan, the Camry, has been put back on Consumer Reports' "Recommended" vehicle list, following improved performance in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's crash testing.
You'll recall that the 2012 and 2013 Camry were infamously booted from the list due to "Poor" ratings in IIHS' notoriously tough small-overlap crash testing. Toyota vowed - just last week actually - to fix the ratings. As the Toyota brand's head, Bill Fay, said last week, "It's still a five-star car. It still does very well in all the IIHS tests. It did not in [the small overlap frontal crash test], and we're busy making the necessary adjustments so that we can address that."
Now, though, those redesigned cars have been tested, earning an "Acceptable" rating in the overlap testing. According to Consumer Reports, Camrys built from November 2013 on feature new internal structures that improve the car's crash test scores enough to make it a "Recommended" buy. IIHS has also elevated the car back to a position in its Top Safety Pick category, although it falls short of the new gold standard, the Top Safety Pick + rating.
2015 Toyota Camry targeting 'more emotional' design
Sun, 19 Jan 2014There are many ways to describe the Toyota Camry: "comfortable," "economical," "affordable," "reliable" and "dull as a bucket of mayonnaise" would all be accurate. It's this last one that the Japanese brand is seeking to change. While we aren't expecting it to suddenly sprout a high-revving V8, a rear-drive layout or razor-sharp handling, a report from Bloomberg suggests we should at least expect a more evocative design from one of the best-selling cars in the country.
The next Camry update, due for 2015, should have a "more emotional, more impactful design," says Kevin Hunter, head of Toyota's US design studio. That's according to Bloomberg, who caught up with the styling boss at this week's Detroit Auto Show. "Camry's taken some hits on styling, but it's still selling well. But we need to create better design for Camry in the future."
