Any questions at : RosaBorders5c03wemq@yahoo.com This is a 1999 Factory Supercharged TRD 4Runner with 160000 miles. It'scrazy fast, with over 300hp and comes with the Factory Supercharger BoostGauge!! I purchased it earlier this year and use is as my daily driver. With aFactory installed electric rear Locker and Factory Supercharged Engine, thetruck is a blast to drive both on and off road. The transmission was rebuilt at155,00 by the prior owner (receipt included). I've done a lot of work to itsince purchasing the truck and recently added REAL Charcoal TRD wheels (nolonger offered by Toyota) with Nitto Terra Grappler P265/70R17 tires (less than500 miles). ALL brakes new including POWERSTOP rotors and Carbon pads. New Drumsand Shoes and all hard ware OEM toyota. All lighting, both interior and exteriorwas upgraded to LED. Super bright LED 6k headlights high and low beam! Brand newMagnaflow exhaust. Towing package with 2 inch receiver. All coolant servicesrecently flushed and the hoses replaced. It's ready for action... Allreceipts for work will be included as well as the parts receipts for warranty. Iwill take the wheels off the truck and lower price by $1500.00 and suply stock 5star OEM toyota wheels painted flat black. I will be posting the pics of thosewheels asap! The vehicle isn't flawless: there are some dings and smallschips on the paint, the interior is in good shape but not perfect...could usenew carpet, keyless remotes do not work, and it burns quite a bit of fuel(that's the trade-off for hauling ass). I hate to get rid of the truck. Ibought it with the intent of a couple

2015 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro priced from $41,285*

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

Just a few weeks after announcing pricing for the first two members of its TRD Pro Series, Toyota has finally dropped the final pricing details on its new Tundra TRD Pro. Like the Tacoma TRD Pro, the Tundra will be available in two different body styles, with a more affordable Double Cab and a roomier Crew Cab.
Prices start at $41,285 for the former and $43,900 for the latter - not counting a hefty $1,100 destination charge - effectively slotting Toyota's off-road-ready model between the $41,730, Double Cab Limited and $46,465, Crew Cab-only 1794 Edition trucks.
As we've covered previously, the TRD Pro models come with a raft of off-road gear that should help combat just about any terrain a driver may stumble across. TRD-tuned Bilstein shocks and TRD-tuned front springs add two inches to the big truck's ride height while the black, 18-inch TRD wheels and available Inferno Orange paint add a bit of visual sass. A new TRD dual exhaust system is also standard, which can confirm sounds great (review coming soon!).

Toyota Camry Dragster takes the phrase 'sleeper' to its logical extreme [w/video]

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Sometimes, looks can be deceiving. This is certainly one of those times, as Toyota successfully trolled the entirety of the media corps at the 2014 SEMA Show by rolling an innocent-looking Camry onto the floor... only to lift literally the entirety of its body to reveal an 850-horsepower, tube-framed dragster. Well, we have been asking for a more driver-oriented Toyota.
While it's designed to go fast in a straight line, the origin of the Camry Dragster's parts might be surprising. The 5.7-liter V8 engine, transmission, rear axle and electronics were plucked from the Toyota Tundra pickup. Toyota Racing Development donated a supercharger, while a wet-nitrous-injection system was also tacked on for that little extra something. Those goodies will help propel this anonymous looking monster through the quarter mile in just 9.8 seconds.
"This is the most extreme build we've ever unveiled at SEMA," said Toyota's motorsports chief Steve Appelbaum said in a statement. "The transformation from seemingly stock Camry to full-blown racecar just shocks the senses. Chuck Wade and the team at Motorsports Technical Center did a truly spectacular job executing the vision of this project."

Toyota must go to trial over unintended acceleration suits

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

Toyota is surely readying its trial lawyers, as the Japanese giant is officially headed to court in a pair of cases relating to its unintended acceleration fiascos of 2009 and 2010.
In the first case, the United States Supreme Court has actually got involved in matters, ignoring an appeal from Toyota that attempted to use an arbitrator to settle its California lawsuits. The automaker will now go to trial to face owners of 2010 Prius models over an alleged defect with the anti-lock braking systems, which plaintiffs say made the cars more difficult to stop, according to Bloomberg.
The second trial is a bit more in depth, covering the case of Ida St. John, an 83-year-old from Georgia, that crashed her 2005 Camry in 2009. The accident is believed to have played a part in her death, although the suit, being filed by her grandson, doesn't actually place blame on Toyota for her death.
