For sale we have a 2002 Subaru WRX Turbocharged AWD. We took this car into a trade for a newer vehicle. The car has a clean carfax report with no accidents. The car runs and drives great. It has the 2.0L engine that fires right up and it sounds super healthy. The 5-speed manual tranny shifts perfect and the clutch grabs strong. The car has few mods such as lowering springs, bigger radiator, blow off valve and a full turbo back exhaust. The car has never been chipped or tuned so ignore the "COBB" stickers. The outside body has nicks and marks and scuffs here and there. The interior is in good shape. Over all the car is solid and very healthy. Fly down and drive the car anywhere with no worries at all.

****We have been getting a lot of questions regarding our auction format so we wanted to take a moment to explain it to those who are new to ebay motors. The "buy it now or best offer" auction format is beneficial to the buyer and the seller because there is no reason to wait until the last minute to bid on a car. As with most dealers, we select certain vehicles from our inventory and put them ebay. We do not have a lot of employees or a fancy showroom; therefore we can pass the savings to you and offer some of the best prices anywhere. So send us an offer now and we will either accept it, counter it, or decline it. If we counter the offer, you are welcome to accept it or counter back, this process proceeds until the car is sold. Our acceptance is binding so please have your financing ready if you would like to purchase a car. Non-Paying Bidders cost us a great deal of time and money and we employ all recourse that ebay provides to complete a sale. We do not accept trade ins. Please remember this auction will likely NOT last the full duration. As soon as we get an acceptable offer the car will be sold. Using Buy it Now ends the auction immediately. DO NOT WAIT - SUBMIT YOUR BEST OFFERS NOW OR USE BUY IT NOW TO ENSURE YOU ARE A WINNER. DUE TO A STRING OF NON-PAYING BIDDERS ALL FOREIGN BIDDERS MUST E-MAIL US FIRST TO BE ALLOWED TO BID**** We are not responsible for incurring fees on auctions if you misread the description or change your mind ALL FEEDBACK MUST BE PLACED UPON PICK UP OF VEHICLE.

The writing has been on the wall for some time, but it seems that Subaru is finally pulling the lever on the guillotine to put the midsize Tribeca crossover out of its misery. Jalopnik has what appears to be a communication from Subaru to its dealers announcing that the final Tribeca will roll off the Lafayette, IN assembly line in January, with the last dealer delivery expected to occur the following month. The last report we heard regarding the Tribeca said that Subaru could be planning a fullsize, three-row crossover, possibly to compete against the Nissan Pathfinder and Ford Explorer. Dropping the Tribeca would leave the automaker without a three-row crossover for the foreseeable future, but according to the memo, Subaru has sold just 78,000 Tribecas since 2005 making it one of the worst-selling vehicles in the US in 2011 and 2012 - for comparison, the automaker has already found 84,372 customers for its new Forester this year (through September) alone. We have reached out to Subaru for comment on the Tribeca's passing, but have yet to hear back as of this writing. Stay tuned for an update, when and if we get word.

As you read these words, we're putting together our full First Drive report on the 2015 Subaru WRX STI. And back in December, we were given our first shot behind the wheel of the wingless 2015 Subaru WRX. Both cars will launch at the same time, hitting dealers this spring, and Subaru has now confirmed that pricing will start at $26,295 for the standard WRX, and $34,495 for the hotter STI, with both models subject to a *$795 for destination fee. On the WRX, that price gets you a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine good for 268 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. There are three trim levels available - base, Premium and Limited - the latter of which will retail for $28,495 and $29,995, respectively. Premium and Limited models are also available with a new continuously variable transmission (it isn't bad - seriously), and the two-pedal setup adds $1,200 to the sedan's bottom line. Premium models add things like heated seats and mirrors, a sunroof, foglamps and a rear spoiler. The high-zoot Limited trim adds leather seating, a power driver's seat and automatic LED headlamps. And then there's the STI, which, at $34,495, carries the same base price as the previous model. Like the standard WRX, the STI is a sedan-only affair, but boasts extensive chassis and powertrain upgrades (stay tuned for our full drive report next week). Under the hood is a turbocharged, 2.5-liter boxer-four, producing 305 hp and 290 lb-ft of twist, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission.

The 2015 Subaru WRX will make its debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show next week - that much we know for sure. We'll have all of the official specs very soon, but it seems Jalopnik has stumbled upon an official-looking document that spells out some of the 'Rex's finer details, including the availability of a continuously variable transmission. Now, before you throw your laptops and phones out the window, know this: a proper manual transmission will still be available. Do remember, the WRX has always had an automatic option, and the move to a CVT for the 2015 model isn't terribly surprising. According to the document, the new WRX will use a 2.0-liter turbocharged flat-four - a change from the 2.5-liter engine in the current car. Subaru also employs a 2.0T boxer engine in the Forester, where it's mated to a CVT. What's more, the Impreza on which the new WRX is based also uses a CVT in favor of a conventional automatic. Jalopnik points out that the more hardcore WRX STI will use a 2.5-liter turbo-four, and will only be available with a manual transmission. Additionally, there will reportedly be a "launch edition" of the STI, painted in the car's signature WR Blue (fingers crossed for gold wheels!).
