Beautiful Car, Ready For The Road on 2040-cars
Maysville, Georgia, United States
1931 Model A Deluxe Coupe. This is a very nice, and enjoyable classic car. It has been recently serviced and is ready for touring, parades, and weekend drives. It has the rumble seat for the grandkids, and lots of extras which makes it a real pleasure to drive. Washington blue and black two-tone, with Tacoma cream wheels and whitewall tires. Also has a creme pinstripe. Tan mohair interior. Cowl lights, stone guard, wind wings, step plates, Moto meter. This is the late 1931, with the indented firewall. This car really looks nice, and is very presentable. However there are some small blemishes in the paint from years of enjoyment. Car needs nothing but a new owner. Car is located in Maysville Georgia, just off I 85 N., about 60 miles north of Atlanta., come see and drive this classic car.
Fine print. I would rather have someone come out and look at this car and drive it and make a face to face deal. I do not want to get involved in any third-party payment scheme. I do not plan to ship this car out of the country. I will need $500 down payment within 48 hrs of the end of the auction, with full payment within two weeks. I can store this car for one month while you arrange for pickup. Thanks for looking, this is a great car and will make someone very happy. |

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
GM expands ignition switch recall to over 1.3 million cars amid climbing death toll
Tue, 25 Feb 2014
588,000 Saturn Sky, Saturn Ion, Pontiac Solstice and Chevy HHR models join the 778,000 cars already being recalled.
General Motors has announced a massive expansion of a 778,000-unit recall we told you about two weeks ago, doubling not only the total number of cars affected but expanding the recall beyond Chevrolet Cobalt and Pontiac G5 models previously mentioned. The recall originally centered around ignition switches that could slip out of the "run" position if jostled or if any weight was applied to the key in the cylinder.
GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
