I have a 2003 Saab 9-3 Vector Black with tan leather interior, auto with paddle shifters and I think every option available. The Vector was the high-end, sport model and only made for one (1) year with a little over 2000 produced.
It has dual power, heated leather seats, premium 17" wheels, nice Pirelli tires, etc., etc. The specs are included as an image. It is ready to drive. As proof of it being a very high-end model, it has an integrated cellular device, so it can be assigned its' own mobile number...we never used that feature. :) It was a $42k car in 2003 and for anyone who appreciates Saab - a definite find. I have been storing it for my sister who left the area for over a year. She is finally letting me get rid of it. I just replaced the battery and it started right up and runs like a dream. It has approximately 135k miles and was always babied and serviced at Saab Mission Viejo and Santa Ana. She wanted $6k, but I convinced her to reduce the price to $5,000 so that it sells in a timely manner. Cash or Paypal accepted. I just visited AAA and paid to bring the registration current. I was out of town for work when I listed this, so the images are from google, but very representative of the vehicle, which is in very, very nice condition. Saab's latest Chinese owners facing their own credit woes
Sat, 16 Aug 2014Poor Saab, it can't seem to get a break. General Motors couldn't seem to make a go of it, neither could Spyker, and now it seems that its latest owner is encountering some problems of its own.
That owner, of course, is National Electric Vehicle Sweden, a Swedish holding company owned by Chinese investors. NEVS recently restarted production at the Saab plant in Trollhättan, Sweden, and had some ambitious plans for the brand's revival, but it appears to have run out of cash.
This according to a report in The Wall Street Journal, which discovered that NEVS is having trouble paying its suppliers. One such supplier, called Labo Test, has reportedly been owed some $22,000 by NEVS since February, and without payment, petitioned the Swedish government to place NEVS into bankruptcy proceedings. If that seems a little extreme to you over twenty-two grand, it would seem the parties agree, as the petition has reportedly since been withdrawn.

Produced from 1978 to 1998, the 900 enjoyed a long history, and thanks to its iconic look, it's quickly becoming a modern classic for the off-kilter car enthusiast. The SPG, short for Special Performance Group, makes this a particularly rare find, with owner Jordan Melville saying, "I didn't even realize what I had at the time."
Melville gives a rundown of his life with the 900 and his passion for Saab overall, even reflecting on that dark day that saw the Swedish brand closed its doors. National Electric Vehicle stops Saab 9-3 production amidst financing woes
Tue, 20 May 2014It seems that quirky, Swedish automaker Saab might be on life support yet again. Its owner, National Electric Vehicle Sweden, has announced that it's reducing its workforce and temporarily halting production of the 9-3 due to financial problems. NEVS was only building six cars a day, anyway.
The company put out a press release admitting its economic woes, but it still appeared hopeful. NEVS claims it's developing "a new platform on the Phoenix architecture," and it has a frame agreement with an international automotive OEM. It didn't give any specific details about either one of these assertions though. According to The Wall Street Journal, NEVS needs the partnership to lower development costs in order to stay afloat. Saab spokesperson Mikael Ostlund told Autoblog in an email that the stop in production of the 9-3 in Trollhättan would last four weeks.
NEVS says it's in negotiation to sell a portion of the company to an automotive company. Its current monetary woes are caused by shareholder Qingbo Investment Company not financing the company as agreed. "We plan to have the results of the discussions at latest during June," said Ostlund.
