It's color is to factory specification Slate Grey exterior with black interior (color number 6201). This vehicle is fully documented with service records dating back since new, original purchase order and bill of sale, I also has a picture of the original owner standing next to the vehicle when he purchased it new on October 1st 1962 in the South of France, I also have pictures of the vehicle being restored back in September 1977. I have documentation with the names and dates of all previous owner 4 in total besides me, this vehicle is also registered in the Porsche Registry. The previous owner to me purchased the vehicle back in 1985 shortly there after he had the engine completely gone through and rebuilt, in the early 2000's he parked the vehicle in his garage that he had built solely for the Porsche and there it stood until I acquired it. I had the fuel pump and carberators rebuilt, put in a new battery and some fresh gas and she fired right up and purred like a kitten. I haven't done much with the vehicle since, it's stored in my garage and I hardly get to drive it, so the wife says its got to go.... We're making room for the new addition to the family our new baby girl, so I guess my old baby girls gotta go and most likely be replaced with something super uncool like a minivan lol :-)  This truly is an awesome Porsche super rare, solid, and just plain gorgeous. Believe me when I tell you your not gonna find such a greatly documented well preserves 356 out there especially one with the low reserve price I have set. I don't have to tell you that Porches are climbing up in value every day and getting harder and harder to come by and prices going through the roof, so don't miss your chance to own this great Porsche 356B Super 90 before they get out of reach.... This vehicle is being offed at auction for 7days only, if you bid please be aware that you are bidding to buy, I require a PayPal deposit immediately after close of auction and full payment within 3days... So if you have any  questions or concerns or would like to view the vehicle prior to bidding email or call me at (360) 521-2561 thanks and GOOD LUCK!!!

Chevy Corvette Stingray defeating rivals where it matters most

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.
Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.

Porsche stalls on Ferrari 458 rival

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

A few years ago, reports surfaced that Porsche was planning a new supercar. But the latest intel suggests that the plan has been put indefinitely on the back burner.
The project alternately referred to as 960 or 988 was put forth by CEO Matthias Müller shortly after he assumed control of the German automaker. It called for a mid-engined V8 supercar to slot in between the 911 and the 918 Spyder to take on the likes of the Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren 650S and sister-company Lamborghini's Gallardo and subsequent Huracán.
Now three years since the idea was first mooted, the vehicle has yet to materialize. According to Autocar, Porsche is putting a greater emphasis on refreshing its existing lineup. Which is probably just as well, because the mid-engined supercar would have a heck of a challenge on its hands to differentiate itself in terms of performance from the 911 GT3 and 911 Turbo, which already give the 458 and company a run for their money.

Porsche testing new 911 GTS

Wed, 28 May 2014

Porsche may have one more vehicle in its stable with the GTS moniker, if these spy shots are any indication. They show off the presumed 911 GTS lapping the track - the model meant to slide in under the GT3 to be a bit more driver-friendly but still very fast alternative to a stock Carrera.
At first glance, it might look like any other 911, but the devil is in the details. The most obvious among the differences are two centrally mounted exhaust outlets, rather than the ones closer to the corners on most of the current models. They also aren't perfectly in the center like the GT3. The taillights are also somewhat thicker than the current ones, and the rear decklid is split into three exposed sections.
This is the third time we've seen the presumed GTS. The first was as a coupe late last year. Then it showed up again in March testing in convertible form. Although, that version also sported fender vents at the rear.
