1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport, a GTO look a like with front clip and hood, interior has been redone and is in good condition, the motor is a rebuilt pontiac 350 and runs great,  2 barrel carburator (new) and original intake, manifold exhaust with new dual exhaust. Body taken down to bare metal and redone, left in prime, very solid. Baby moon rims with cooper tires with very little wear. great car for Sundays or track car project.

I am the third owner and purchased the vehicle locally. I purchased the car in 2006 and have redone the body, exhaust, new carb, and regular maintenance on the vehicle. The previous owner had the motor rebuilt and it currently has 15,000 miles on the rebuild, the vehicle has AC, but the system needs trouble shooting.I also replaced the original steering wheel for a racing steering wheel (which is not pictured at this time). All in all the vehicle preforms very well, looks good and is solid, a great classic with the 1970 model GTO look.

I also have an additional set of bucket seats with the vehicle and paint, white with pearl. i have not given the final paint yet in interest that a buyer may want to paint the vehicle a different color. This vehicle has been a good project car and a fun vehicle to drive.

Shipping and payment: Payment can be made to my Paypal account, I can mail the title (signed) upon payment and vehicle can be picked up locally with a reasonable distance 10-20 miles, other terms may be discussed if needed

Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO

Mon, 24 Jun 2013

Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.

Rumormill: DeLorean Motor Company considering rescuing Pontiac Solstice?

DeLorean Motor Company Pontiac Solstice renderings - Click above for high-res image gallery
General Motors has made a science out of sharing platforms. So when the company's Kappa platform was introduced for a new rear-drive roadster to be distributed across three different motor divisions, you'd have figured the program was pretty safe, right? Unfortunately for the workers at the Wilmington Assembly Plant which manufactured the Kappa roadsters, those three divisions were Pontiac, Saturn and Opel - three units which the General has either sold or shut down. Which is a shame, because a perfectly good rear-drive roadster platform is a heck of a thing to waste.
In one of the strangest rumors we've heard recently, however, our compatriots over at Jalopnik report that the DeLorean Motor Company (yes, that DeLorean Motor Company) is considering buying the plant and the platform from GM and putting it back into production as a new DMC.

General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]

Fri, 26 Aug 2011

You don't have to be born in the 1960s or 1970s to be able to recognize the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard and the Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
More importantly, which of these two cars would you rather own? Have your say in our poll below.
