This is a PHS documented Judge with 20 option including: Posi, Radio, Custom belts, Rally Gauges, console, power brakes, disc brakes, tint glass all, ride and handling package, door edge guards, TH Trans with slap stick option, strip tires, 8 Track, padded steering wheel, hood tach, power steering with variable ratio, tilt steering wheel, lamp dome option, the Judge option, AND SUPER SUPER RARE Power flow vent ventilation system.  This car was sold to the orginial owner in South Carolonia and delivered in March of 1970. The cost of the car was $3,869.56.  This car runs and drives with a new steering box and starter. The heads, intake, carb and distributor as I believe the alternator too are original. The paint is original, the strips are original, and the interior is original.  The car appears to never been taken apart or sustaining any major blows.  The car is super solid with super solid floors, frame, trunk and etc. Very very minor rust on lower fender and top of hood.  The interior is original and there are cracks in the dash and tears in the front seats. The paint looks good from 5 feet away and is really sort of impressive for being original but there are some chips and the hood has some spray patch repair work that doesn't match.  The original wheels are not on the car but I own them and comes with the car.  The original colors were Pepper Green exterior and interior. This car can be sold as is or for a reasonable fee I can replace the complete interior, repaint the car, put new strips on, do some detailing under the hood, and trunk compartment, install new weather stripping, new tires, and the original wheels for about under $20,000  This would include either returning the car to its original colors or changing either the paint and or interior colors per your choice. This car also has all its original metal Ram Air parts intact.  If we do the work for you, the interior will be very nice and new and the paint work will be done to a driver quality production standard.  The price of the buy it now reflects the as is price. Add $20,000 if the restoration work is desire.  Please call for more details and to discuss....215-651-9268

GM recalls 61k more vehicles in three campaigns

Sun, 05 Oct 2014

Following a stop-delivery order for its new midsize trucks and a rash of recent recalls, General Motors is issuing three more campaigns covering 60,575 vehicles in North America with 57,182 of them in the US. As of October 1, the automaker has issued a total of 74 recalls (see the ridiculously long chart to the right) this year covering 26,495,070 units in the US.
The largest campaign covers 46,873 examples in the US of the 2008-2009 Pontiac G8 and 2011-2013 Chevrolet Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle imported from Australia. It's possible for the driver's knee to hit the key and make it move from the "Run" to "ACC" position while driving. GM says its Holden division is developing a fixed-blade key that's supposed to fix the problem by only allowing it to rotate toward the "On" position. There has been one crash caused by this fault but no injuries or fatalities.
The second recall is for 10,005 units of the 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V and 2006-2007 Cadillac STS-V because "the fuel pump module electrical terminal may overheat." This can cause a flange to melt and allow the pump to leak fuel. GM specifies that the remedy for the CTS-V is replacing the fuel module and fuel tank jumper harness, but it doesn't specify how the STS-V is being repaired.

GM recalling another 2.7 million vehicles in five separate campaigns

Thu, 15 May 2014

The recalls keep rolling in from General Motors, evidently keen to avoid repeating the mistakes of the ignition-switch debacle and clean house. This time they're all coming at once, with five separate recalls announced together covering approximately 2.7 million vehicles.
The largest of the five actions involves over 2.4 million units of the previous-generation Chevrolet Malibu and Malibu Maxx, Pontiac G6 and Saturn Aura in order to fix brake light wiring harness, which have been found to be susceptible to corrosion. The recall is separate from the 56k Aura sedans which GM recently recalled over faulty shift cables, not to mention the previous massive recall of 1.3 million vehicles - some of them the same models - but appears to have resulted from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation that started with the G6 almost a year ago.
The second-largest campaign involves the 2014 Chevy Malibu, specifically those fitted with GM's 2.5-liter engine and stop/start system, approximately 140,000 examples of which has been found to have problematic brakes. The issue does not appear to be connected to the recall of 8k Malibu and Buick LaCrosse sedans (also involving brake woes) which we reported upon last week. Four crashes have been reported in such models, but GM admits it's not yet clear if the problem was a contributing factor in the accidents.

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes

Mon, 01 Oct 2012

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
