You are looking at a 1969 Pontiac Firebird powered by a 400 Pontiac engine with a 30 over bore, zero deck and flat top pistons. Also has a 480 lift cam. The interior has new original style front seats and dash pad. All other hard parts will need to be replaced or restored but will be easy to find in "classic industries", "year one" or any classic car part vendors. The paint job on the car is 2 years old and is in good shape. The rear bumper needs to be installed and the car will need the window trim. The 400 Pontiac engine has about 10,000 miles on a performance rebuild. The rear end has 373 gears with an open differential. It has factory rally wheels painted black. Some rust in the trunk and light rust in the back window, not too serious. May need new wiring. I'm selling the car because we are in the process of buying an house and I just don't have the time or resources to complete the build. I've had the car for 9 years, but not sure who the original owner is. Kelly Blue Book gives this vehicle $13,000 in poor condition! Comes with clear car title as well. Oprah kicked off her 19th season in dramatic fashion by giving all 276 members of the studio audience a free car.
Molly Vielweber's Pontiac G6 appears unremarkable at first glance. It wears forest green paint, rolls on five-spoke aluminum wheels, and it has a sizeable scrape in the driver's side door, the scar of a decade's worth of hard use. You wouldn't notice it parked at a big box store or cruising on the highway. Pontiac made hundreds of thousands of G6s in the 2000s, and a lot are still on the road. It's unremarkable in every way except for the front license plate, which reads, "Oprah 6."

2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am

No, you didn't read our title wrong. This is a 2013 model year Trans Am, and yes, that is a Pontiac logo affixed to the front of the car. But don't bother dialing up your local General Motors dealership just yet. This is the new Hurst Edition Trans Am created by the Trans Am Depot located in Tallahassee, FL. Having spent a number of years restoring early Trans Am models, the crew at Trans Am Depot finally did what many Pontiac enthusiasts wish GM would have done - create a modern Trans Am using the fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro.
As the former owner of a 1977 model, I've been wanting to check out Trans Am Depot ever since I first saw the company have American Choppers build a trio of motorcycles inspired by its Pontiac remakes. So I jumped at the chance to head to Florida's capital city to visit the shop and drive its latest creation, the new Hurst Edition Trans Am. As a collaboration with Hurst, this car made its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show and then popped up again on our radar with a cheesy yet perfectly fitting video back in March.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
