1967 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham. 2nd Owner. on 2040-cars
Honea Path, South Carolina, United States
Thanks for looking. The only reason I'm putting the car up for sale is I have my heart set on something else. I don't have to sell this car. I bought this car off of the nephew of the original owner. After I purchased it I rebuilt the original carburetor, installed an HEI distributor, replaced the timing chain and gear, gave it a proper tune up and had a new dual exhaust installed. Interior is very nice. All original. Has a crack in the center of the dash pad which is very normal for any mid 60s GM car. Headliner has some mildew staining from being closed up for so long. Front and rear glass needs to be removed and resealed as they do leak a bit. All power windows work. Rear windows need some help when you roll them back up. Power seat works fine. 400 engine with a th400 transmission. A/C blows but does not blow cold. Paint is presentable but needs to be repainted to be really nice. Factory N code Burgandy car with A code starlight black painted roof. Has some rust in the trunk that needs to be addressed. Fuel gauge and volt gauge do not work. Original deluxe hub caps. I drive it regularly. Everyone that sees it loves it. Only thing I will trade it for is a similar quality 1965 Buick Riviera or green cash money. That's it. No bikes, no boats nothing else. Car is sold as is where is with no warranty. $500 non refundable deposit must be made after auctions end. I can deliver the car for a fee within about a 7 hour drive from the Greenville, SC area on my trailer. No joyriders, no tire kickers, no dreamers.

1939 Pontiac Ghost Car commands $308,000 at auction
Mon, 01 Aug 2011For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new. You can check out the high-res gallery of its innards, including copper and chrome metalwork and white moldings and wheels, and get the exhaustive details on it after the jump.
Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes
Wed, 31 Oct 2012It seems the Pontiac Trans Am steadfastly refuses to die. Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. The interior is emblazoned with all manner of special touches, including a Hurst dash plate and T/A stitching on the Katzkin two-tone leather seats.
