Single owner pristine example of a stock GTR. You can of course put aftermarket upgrades from a
clean slate, not somebody elses ragged out drag car. I very much wanted an early car when the GTR was first
announced. I was able to secure the 109th one ever imported to America as a new model car. My thoughts were that my
wife and I would have this car as an investment which meant that we'd have it for more than 20 years. That's why
you'll see we took special care of this car. I still believe it's a good investment, but our circumstance has
changed. This car has never been LAUNCHED. The launch control has
never been used since I have owned the car and I am the first owner.
This GTR is 6 years old and even as meticulous and anal retentive as I am, it's not showroom perfect. Someone had a
getaway cart at the grocery store and it hit the front bumper. It has a small scratch. The interior on this car is
easy to scuff. There are small areas around the window buttons that show a little bit of wear and there is a small
mark on the dash on the passenger side. I believe the paint overall to be in excellent condition. Heck, I had the
factory plastic on the floorboards until about 6 months ago when the dealer took them out without asking me. That
really made me mad. I have done the oil changes personally at my shop using OEM parts of course at 6k intervals.
This car has large flat aluminum sides and there are NO door dings. It actually still smells new as we've never
smoked or eaten in the car.

Nissan won't downsize the next Armada
Wed, 28 Aug 2013The Nissan Armada is aptly named, because in relative automotive terms, it's not just the size of a ship - it's the size of a whole fleet. And that, according to reports, isn't about to change.
While many of the larger SUVs on the market are gradually being phased out or replaced by smaller crossovers, Nissan apparently plans on keeping the Armada right where it is. And that means a large, truck-based, eight-passenger colossus, because there are buyers out there who expect no less and Nissan isn't about to lose them to the likes of the Toyota Sequoia, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator, or a General Motors lineup that includes the Chevy Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade.
That doesn't mean that the next Armada - which Edmunds expects will arrive in 2015 or 2016 - will be immune to constricting environmental regulations, so Nissan will have to get creative. A vehicle the size of the Armada has all the aerodynamic efficiency of the side of a barn, but Nissan is reportedly aiming to streamline that in order to boost efficiency, for starters.
Modified Trabant takes on Nissan GT-R in 1/4-mile battle
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The little yellow guy in the right lane above with the "Flitzer" license plate looks like a Trabant 601 wagon and it's called a Trabant, but it's got little to do with the impoverished East German runabout that did its part to drive Communist ideals further into the ground. You'd almost be forgiven for not knowing there's a turbocharged 3.0-liter engine up front, until you have look at that rear track... and the wheelie bars in back.
So with a power-to-weight ratio akin to an LS9-powered scooter, it's no surprise that the Trabbi puts a pasting on a slightly tuned, 580-horsepower Nissan GT-R - we don't know what happened with Godzilla's shifting, but it was all over from the hole shot. It's still fun to watch, though, and you can do that in the video below.
Google's new Android Autos OS unveiled, will be in cars this year [w/video]

How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.
