Blacked Out. 3.5 Liter Engine. Manual Transmission. Fast And Fun Altima. on 2040-cars
Gainesville, Virginia, United States
I recently purchased this 2005 SE-R and LOVE it. I am looking to sell it quickly and upgrade again. Drove it off the lot with 95,500 miles on it, it now has 98,000 and counting until its sold! Great condition. It is going on 10 years old so it has an occasional scratch along the paint but very clean still. Never been damaged or crashed. Previous owner took great care of it. The interior looks a year old at that! Bought newer used tires to put on the car for a better grip than the 10 year old tires it had, as well as had the rims painted black. All window tint is legal. Nissan only made the SE-R in 2005 and is definitely the fastest Altima on the road. The Cold-Air intake is just a plus to the stock speed it was given. Beautiful Engine roar. Brand new battery installed in June 2014. Want to see more pictures? or (703)-895-8682 Payment Details can be discussed privately, I am open to anything. |

Toyota, Honda, Nissan and more collaborating to increase fuel efficiency
Sun, 25 May 2014Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Daihatsu have announced an alliance that will see a push to improve fuel economy from both gas-powered and diesel-powered engines by as much as 30 percent before the end of the decade.
The newly assembled Research Association of Automotive Internal Combustion Engines put the roughly $20-million project together, with the Japanese government committing to half the cost while the eight manufacturers will chip in the rest.
According to Automotive News, the automakers will team up and share basic research on internal-combustion engines in a bid to cut costs. Eventually, the results of the research will find its way into a production vehicle, although it's unclear just when we'll see the fruits of this partnership on the road.
Nissan Xterra's fate hangs in the balance
Sat, 21 Sep 2013The Nissan Xterra might not be long for this world, according to a report from Edmunds. The rugged SUV, which has always been a bit more of a hardcore, purpose-built vehicle than the rest of the Nissan SUV range. But it has also suffered from slowing sales, low fuel economy relative to the competition and general neglect, as Nissan has focused on other offerings in its range.
"There are plans to replace it, there are always plans, (but) I am not sure it will happen. I would say in the next six months to a year," Pierre Loing, vice president of product planning for Nissan Americas told Edmunds. Part of the problem, he added, was that the Xterra is a US-only vehicle, which makes it a hard sell in a world where automakers are increasingly depending on global cars.
Besides the economic forces working against the Xterra, it's just a vehicle that hasn't been a huge sales success of late. Customers are more conscious of fuel economy and a body-on-frame SUV that only nets 16 miles per gallon just isn't good enough; arguably why Nissan barely sold 17,000 units last year. We can hold out hope, as the Xterra remains a fun off-roader that we'd hate to see go, but unless Nissan finds a business case or some global partners, this is a vehicle that is on its last leg.
