I purchased this Altima at a dealership in KY with a salvage title and had the vehicle professionally repaired (the damage was light enough that no airbags were deployed).  The vehicle now has a KY Rebuilt title (this is a standard title with a "Rebuilt" brand on it).  I had planned to keep and drive the vehicle but have found out that Arizona has stringent rules regarding salvage title vehicles and due to the out of state title history it can not be registered in Arizona so I am not able to keep it and it must be registered outside of Arizona.  Please be familiar with the rules for the state you plan to register the vehicle prior to bidding.

The vehicle runs and drives great.  The exterior is nearly flawless but and the only two things I wanted to mention is that the right side exhaust tip is bent a little (see the photo taken of rear) and also there is a small area on the top of the roof where the repair was not perfect and at the right angle some imperfections can be seen.  See the photo that is zoomed in on the roof area.

The interior looks, feels, and smells new.  The title indicates the miles are not actual, however, based on the title history the miles seem to be actual since the mileage matches the miles it had when it received a salvage title and since it has not been driven since then other than to drive it to and from the repair shop.

Please contact me with any questions you have.  I'll be happy to send additional pictures, videos, or other information that you would like to know about the car.  I think this vehicle will make someone a great car and I'm bummed that it won't be me!  The buyer will need to pick up vehicle or have vehicle shipped but if needed I can provide the name of a shipping broker who did a great job and got me a great price to have the vehicle shipped to me from KY.

The reserve price is $10,500.  Good luck and please don't hesitate to contact me with questions!

Pebble Beach Concept Car Lawn adds class to the grass

Sun, 17 Aug 2014

While Pebble Beach is traditionally thought of as the refuge of the pristine and pricey vintage vehicles of the world, there's no shortage of newer vehicles on display. And when we say "new," we mean really new. As in, not even in production new. This is the concept car lawn, and it's home to an eclectic group of vehicles from past and present.
Of course, calling it the "concept car lawn" is a bit of a misnomer this year (as it has been in previous years, too). Production models like the Alfa Romeo 4C were on display, alongside known quantities like the Hennessy Venom GT and modified versions of already-on-sale models, like the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Waterspeed Collection.
There were a few concepts on display, though. Toyota debuted the critically acclaimed FT-1 Concept in a new shade, while BMW's Beijing Motor Show stunner, the Vision Future Luxury, was also parked on the expensive grass. Also appearing were the Nissan GT-R in sheep's clothing, the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge, and the recently debuted McLaren P1 GTR.

Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet being phased out, no replacement planned

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

Over the years, I've been given many nicknames - a few of them have even been repeatable around small children. One such moniker is "Mr. Other Makes," a title given to me because of my predilection for sifting through eBay Motors seeking out automotive misfits and orphans. I've got a soft spot for the dreamers and automakers who take big chances on beancounter-enraging flights of fancy.
I count Nissan among that bunch, because for every safe-as-houses Altima or Sentra that rolls out of its factory gates, the Japanese automaker has often secreted away a little funding for white-space niche vehicles that any sane person wouldn't expect to pencil out. Some, like the Juke, have proven to be massive hits. Others, like the GT-R, have become icons. And then there are models like the Murano CrossCabriolet, a segment-bending mashup the likes of which we haven't seen since the AMC Eagle Sundancer.
Yesterday, upon revealing the new third-generation Murano ahead of its New York Auto Show debut, we reported "the writing appears to be on the wall" for the midsize crossover's novel convertible cousin. It appears we were right. Autoblog can now confirm that the CrossCabriolet will die at the end of this model year, and our source at Nissan tells us unequivocally, "there is no plan for a next-generation Murano CC."

Nissan commits to adding 'iconic' design after Cube killed off

Fri, 25 Jul 2014

The Nissan Cube is on its way out here in the US and Canada. In a way, that's too bad, simply because the Cube's styling was nothing if not distinctive - much like the company's own Juke. However, the flame for uniquely styled models is indeed still burning over at Nissan.
We might never see an exact replacement for the Cube in the brand's lineup, but product planning boss Andy Palmer says that its retirement leaves a spot open in the Nissan lineup for something else. "To be clear, we will morph this space in our portfolio into something iconic," said Palmer to Automotive News. Unfortunately, he wouldn't hint at what that could mean.
However, his lack of suggestions makes it fun to speculate about what oddity could replace the Cube, especially since two of Nissan's more recent quirky concepts might have problems hitting the road. The Bladeglider is mired in Nissan and Deltawing Technologies' ongoing patent lawsuit. Alternatively, the retro-inspired IDx might be too expensive to build profitably. Still, this is the company that created both the (nearly dead) Murano CrossCabriolet and the very successful Juke; it can probably come up with something else delightfully weird.
