This was my wife's daily driver for the past 5 years. Mostly all highway miles. We live in Stafford so everything's 20 miles away. This car sat in the driveway for six months because she bought a new car. We put a new battery in it and it starts right up . Drives great. Wouldn't hesitate to drive in on a long trip. Having said this, you will have to get a few things done for it to pass inspection. So here's the rundown:

THE GOOD:

No rust or major dents. Wheels and tires are good (about50% or better). Runs smoothly with plenty of power. Transmission is smooth. All glass is good. Nice stereo. Good gas mileage.

THE BAD:

Failed emissions. Don't know why. But it has never been tuned up. Could be a sensor or maybe a catalytic converter. We don't know. One headlight is out. skull cap on rear view mirror is missing. Does leak oil in the driveway. Needs rear brakes and wiper blades. If you know much about cars, you know that none of this will leave you on the side of the road. It just needs a good going through. For someone who is so inclined it would be a good starter car for a teen or just an a to b for saving wear and tear on your nice one. Just charged up the a/c and it is blowing cold. I don't know if this is from sitting or maybe has a leak. Compressor is good, so it may benefit from some leak sealant at the auto parts store. Also there is a weird problem with the passenger window wanting to remain about one inch open. If you put it up and lock it, it's fine. We've just lived with it that way for several years.

THE UGLY:

Dings and light scratches. My wife rear ended someone a few years ago and they did a good job of repairing the front clip. No frame or suspension issues. Just cosmetic. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. You're not going worry about it in the parking lot and it also won't embarrass you or draw unwanted attention. Interior has no rips or tears and is overall decent. But it has been a family car. I had it cleaned up and it looks okay.

2015 Nissan Juke keeps its funky

The Nissan Juke is one of the most polarizing vehicles on the road today, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been a sales success, especially in Europe. Nissan is giving the the CUV its first styling refresh at the Geneva Motor Show. While the design changes will almost certainly be universal, the mechanical changes are still somewhat of a mystery for the US market. Nissan makes it clear in its press release below that it covers only the European model, and details about the North American model are coming later.
The exterior changes put a focus on making the Juke look a bit more angular and sporty. The lights on the fenders are now formed into a jagged point and somewhat echo the boomerang-shaped taillights. It also features Nissan's new, thicker V-shaped chrome grille. The door mirrors receive LED turn signals, and the lower portion of the rear receives a simulated mesh grille to look more aggressive. Other than some new color schemes, the interior is basically unchanged. However, the luggage area has been reshaped to increase storage capacity by 40 percent to 12.5 cubic feet (354 liters).
European buyers are getting a new 1.2-liter DIG-T turbocharged engine with 113 horsepower (115PS) and 140 pound-feet of torque (190Nm), and the 1.6 DIG-T also gets an increased compression ratio to produce 188 hp and is offered with either a six-speed manual or Nissan's Xtronic CVT. The all-wheel-drive system has also been upgraded with a torque vectoring system.

Nissan's new GT-R boss says next car will go for more volume

Since its introduction in 2008, the Nissan GT-R has seen a steady increase of power and price almost every year, but the big news for the next-gen supercar might be an increase in production. Automotive News recently spoke with newly appointed GT-R chief engineer Kinishi Tanuma who said Nissan needs "more of a volume car." Nissan has sold a little more than 2,000 GT-Rs in the US since 2012 - 1,188 last year and 952 so far this year.
Of course, a key limiting factor in the GT-R's production is its hand-built engine. Currently, only four people are qualified to build the GT-R's twin-turbo V6, but Tanuma says a fifth is in training. Even if production numbers are raised, Nissan also wants to add more quality and value into the GT-R. There is still no word as to what kind of timeframe Nissan is looking to start pumping out more GT-Rs, but with a new Nismo model rumored to be bringing a two-second 0-60 time, demand is sure to be on the rise.
