SUMMER IS HERE!!!!

370z NISMO - BLACK on BLACK...

1-Owner

One of the sadiest days of my life has come... I am selling my 2011 Nissan 370Z Nismo. This beauty is as new as they come for 2011, This car is absolutely clean, and she comes wearing a sexy jet black dress with black interior. In my opinion she is Flawless! Only 14,000 Miles! This car still is still covered under the manufactures warranty plan of 36,000 or 3years (3/2/2015) which ever comes first. I Bought her in December of 2012 from Nissan, and I have stored her in a heated garage all winter. I only got to drive her a handful of times before the winter came her in chicago, and i really am sad to let her go!:(. However, I have recently moved to California and want to buy a little sail boat to live on in the bay and get a tan all year instead of battling the famous midwest winters.. Something's gotta give!! I'm taking a significant hit on my firm price of $33,500, but I need to move her fast. I Coming back from California to Chicago to sell her so here is your chance to get a NISMO without all the DEALERSHIP Fees and shenanigans...

 please serious buyers only!
 No scammers!

Again, If your looking to buy a NISMO this is the car for you!! I can be reached at arnoldnovak33@gmail.com or by cell at 872-888-4011.

Nissan Altima takes first V8 Supercars win

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

The V8 Supercars championship used to be strictly a contest between Holden and Ford. But just as BMW crashed the Audi and Mercedes party in DTM, so has Nissan (and for that matter, Mercedes) pushed past the door into Australia's popular touring car series. And like BMW, Nissan hasn't waited long before notching its first victory.
Nissan claimed the checkered flag this weekend in the first of three races at Winton, the ninth stop on the calendar. And what a spectacular win it was: not only did Nissan take the checkered flag, they finished one-two. James Moffat drove his Altima to the finish line just ahead of teammate Michael Caruso. It was Caruso who lead the first half of the race after qualifying just behind defending champion (and current points leader) Jamie Whincup, who suffered a gearbox malfunction and retired on only the ninth lap.
Of course that's just one race out of 27 so far and 37 scheduled this season, so that won't be elevating Nissan or any of its drivers to the lead the same way that BMW did upon its return last season to DTM, but it's a good start and a cause to celebrate for Nissan. Mark Winterbottom (Ford) and James Courtney (Holden) won the following two rounds at Winton as Jamie Whincup (Holden) leads Will Davison (Ford) in the standings.

Nissan leaning on JATCO to remedy CVT problems

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

Nissan's decision to fit continuously variable transmissions across even more of its new models may be coming back to bite the Japanese automaker, as it's been hampered by customer satisfaction issues relating to its XTronic CVTs, which are provided by a supplier called JATCO.
From what we're understanding, the issue largely relates to customers' unfamiliarity with the non-traditional shift nature of a CVT. Dealers have reported complaints and service visits from owners over the belt-driven automatics (did these people not test drive the cars before they bought them and notice that they don't shift conventionally?).
The company, which Nissan owns 75 percent of, has come under fire from none other than Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn, who's spoken about JATCO and its troubles rather openly. "Every time you launch a new CVT you always have some risks," Ghosn said in an interview with Automotive News. "So we now have a process by which, before we launch any new CVT, [JATCO] come before the Nissan executive committee to explain all the measures they have taken to make sure there are no surprises."

2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo is Japanese for "Zero Competition"

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

It was only a little more than a year ago that we were wondering if there would be a new Nissan GT-R, now here we are writing about the introduction of two of them. Carlos Ghosn himself unveiled the new 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo and the standard-in-name-only 2015 GT-R on which it is based. The Nismo is all about ape-chested mojo, coming with the tagline "Zero Competition," GT3-derived tweaks without and within and a 'Ring time of 7:08.679.
Nissan also brought the actual 'Ring-running car to the event and you'll notice that it has a different rear wing than the two show cars. We were told that the wing on the time-setting car would be available on the car that goes on sale, Nissan intending to keep its "production car" promise.
You can check out the Nismo above in the new Dark Matte Grey exterior hue and in Brilliant White Pearl, as well as the new GT-R, its new Ivory interior and LED light signature below. We haven't written this in a while, so allow us to bring the challenge back: Porsche - your move...
