For sale 2008 Nissan 350Z Grand Touring Roadster with 26,000 miles. This car is in excellent condition, barely even broken in at just over 26,000 miles. This car has all of the available options: factory navigation, heated leather seats, Bose sound system, xenon headlights, special addition gray leather and convertible top that was only available for the grand touring edition. The car was driven on the highways so there is some normal wear like a few small rock chips and minor scratches as well as a little wear on the vinyl convertible top but even counting that the car is in excellent condition. I upgraded the stereo receiver with a Sony unit that connects to smart phones via Bluetooth and has a rearview camera.

This car has not been smoked in.

In 2007 Nissan refreshed the 350Z and upgraded to an updated version of Nissan's award-winning VQ-series engine, a high revving 3.5L DOHC V-6 engine that put out 306 hp @ 6800 rpm Torque: 268 lb-ft @ 4800 rpm. So if you are looking for a Z, you will find great performance for an unbelievable value if you purchase the right year. The upgraded engine also has a reputation for being bullet proof and is great for forced induction modifications, unlike the first generation of the 350Z. This 350Z also came standard with a Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) drive shaft.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: January 2013

Wed, 23 Jan 2013

We've now had our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder for about a month, and some impressions are starting to solidify, while others remain contentious among the team. Most notable among those contentious items is our Pathfinder's paint color, which was chosen by vote among the Autoblog team.
Dubbed Mocha Stone, it beat out Cayenne Red by a single vote. I was a Mocha Stone supporter and like it even more in person than on Nissan's configurator. It's a mature choice that can be comfortably placed in the grouping of silver, white and gray tones buyers routinely choose most often over all the colors of the rainbow offered on cars these days for the sake of attention. Staunch opponents of Mocha Stone on the team remain unswayed. Democracy is a difficult process, people.

Nissan does its best Google Glass impression with 3E headgear [w/video]

Wed, 13 Nov 2013

The jury may still be out on whether it'll be legal to drive with Google Glass on your nose, but that doesn't mean automakers are going to sit around waiting to see which way the wind blows in one jurisdiction or another. Mercedes-Benz, for example, is already working on ways to integrate its infotainment system into Google Glass, but Nissan is taking things a step further by developing its own wearable tech.
The device is called Nissan 3E, and we don't have much information to go on at this point - just a couple of images, a terse press release and the highly stylized (and rather painful-looking) video below. The Japanese automaker lists internet connectivity and communication as the primary features. But we'd have to assume that, if an automaker is developing it, the device would have some relevance to, you know... driving.
The possibilities are endless, extending from turn-by-turn directions and track information to vehicle metrics and intuitive control of the car's auxiliary controls. We'll have to wait until we get to Tokyo to find out more, but between this and the smartwatch concept it revealed in Frankfurt, Nissan seems to be on a bit of a gadget streak lately.

Google's new Android Autos OS unveiled, will be in cars this year [w/video]

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

Connected cars are coming en-masse. We know this much. How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.
