2004 Nissan 350z / 6 Speed Manual / Upgraded / Excellent Condition on 2040-cars
Jacksonville, Florida, United States
I'm listing my 04 Nissan 350 Z for sale. The car currently has 83,500 miles but they will go up since its my daily driver. The car is in excellent shape mechanically and cosmetically. All services up to date. I'm asking $13,800 for the car as it sits right now. Has a few upgrades to it such as 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 Varrstoen wheels with 245s in the front and 295s in the back. Tires are fairly new Toyo Proxes. Lowered with Hotchkis springs. True dual exhaust with test pipes. Intake. Plenum spacer. Grounding kit. Front lip. Nismo V1 style wing. Nismo shifter. Nismo oil and coolant caps. I also have Gold Brembo brakes that came off of a G35 that I can install for extra $1000. The price is negotiable and I we can work out a deal if you dont want some or all of aftermarket parts. I can have all oem parts installed if you wish. Some of the cons on the car are; the CD player wont read any CD's, front lip has some pain chipping ( not noticable), a few minor dings. Again, the price is $13,800 OBO and I will consider trades. Let me know what you have; preferably trades plus cash. I can be reached through email or call/text my number at 904-six six two-7046

Nissan Micra overtaken by bees in England
Mon, 19 May 2014A 20,000-insect-strong colony of bees attempted to turn a Nissan Micra into their new hive on Friday. The invasion happened in the English town of Southsea, a suburb of Portsmouth, and is just one of a few unexpected bee swarms in the country in recent days.
The car belonged to a student, who alerted the local council. A beekeeper was called in to move the colony of European honey bees to a safer location, on the roof of a nearby church, where they can be tended to.
Scroll down for a video of the bees in full-on swarm mode on the back of the second-gen Micra.
Nissan Canada to end Versa sales with Micra launch
Mon, 24 Feb 2014There's plenty of space in Canada. In fact, with the second largest land mass of any country in the world, Canada has a population density of just nine people per square mile. But apparently there isn't enough room for more than one cheap Nissan in the True North, Strong and Free.
As you may recall, Nissan Canada recently announced it would begin offering the Micra hatchback with a starting price of less than ten thousand Canadian dollars - significantly less than the nearly $12k it charges for the Versa sedan. As a result, Nissan will reportedly cease offering the Versa sedan in new home of the olympic gold medal for hockey.
Apparently the Versa was a slow seller in Canada, a country in which European tastes tend to prevail - particularly in the Eastern provinces - more than they do in the United States to the south. Nissan evidently hopes that the Micra (a model created principally for the European market) will do better than the American-centric Versa ever did there. According to sales numbers cited by Automotive News, Nissan sold barely more than 12,000 Versa sedans and hatchbacks in Canada last year, but over 117,000 in the United States.
Nissan reveals new Qashqai crossover for Europe
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Between the Juke, Rogue, Murano, Xterra, Pathfinder and Armada, Nissan offers a wide variety of crossovers and SUVs in this market. And that's not even counting the trucks, vans and Infiniti crossovers. But in the European market, it all comes down the Qashqai. Not that Nissan doesn't offer other crossovers in Europe, it's just that the Qashqai has, since its introduction in 2007, accounted for the lion's share, with over two million sold globally (of which 1.5 million were in Europe). And now, after teasing it repeatedly, Nissan has introduced the all-new model.
Larger, sleeker, more advanced, more comfortable and more environmentally friendly than the model it replaces, the new Qashqai is designed in Europe, for Europe, and hits the market at the start of the new year. It's the first European model to be based on Renault-Nissan's new Common Alliance Platform that will eventually encompass three Nissan models and 11 Renaults built in locations around the world.
An array of gasoline and diesel engines, ranging from 110 to 150 horsepower, will be available in two- or four-wheel drive configurations, with either a six-speed manual or the type of continuously variable transmission which Nissan champions.
