This is an auction for a 1987 Nissan 300ZX GS. It has a V6 engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. It has power windows, locks, brakes, steering, seat, mirrors Mirrors are also heated. Car comes with cruise control, digital dash, digital climate control, rear window defroster, rear window wiper, four wheel disk brakes, fog lights (missing one fog light). Comes with push button hatch and gas door release. Car has premium wheels with fresh professionally painted charcoal finish. Tires have about 80% tread left. Car is equipped with T-tops that do not leak and air conditioning that blows cold. Everything on the car functions properly.
Car has the following upgrades; rebuilt transmission 20k miles ago, new clutch, new water pump, new cooling hoses, new radiator, timing belt changed about 20k miles ago, K&N air filter, front strut tower reinforcement bar, recently serviced, new brakes front and rear, new catalytic converter, new muffler with custom chrome tips, new console lid cover, new windshield, new hid headlights, custom painted rear light tint (high quality car paint done by high end paint shop, not cheap auto part store spray). Newer Sony radio with upgraded speakers, new seat covers (driver seat could use to be reupholstered, but still looks fine with covers at present time). Has rear suspension upgrade that solves the common suspension sag that these cars commonly see after years. Also has new silicone vacuum hoses, all rubber fuel lines have been replaced. About two years ago the car was sent into a high end paint shop body pieces were dismantled and removed and body was removed of all dents and front and rear turn signals were shaved off. The car was painted Mercedes AMG Blue and reassembled. (Took about an 8 month process). I am the second owner of this car. I have owned the car for about five years and have about $10,000 in upgrades to make the car reliable and aesthetically pleasing. Car runs excellent, I would trust it to run anywhere. Nissan Micra gets fresh new look [w/video]
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Nissan has given its popular Micra a substantial refresh. Completely revised fascias front and rear join small sheetmetal tweaks for an all-new look, and Nissan says buyers can expect to find a host of new technology indoors. That includes audio USB and AUX-in slots as well as a new audio and touchscreen navigation system with a larger display. Designers have also graced the model - known in some markets as the Nissan March - with a revised center console and new trim indoors. Be still our beating hearts.
Under the hood, a supercharged, direct-injection 1.2-liter gasoline three-cylinder engine continues to produce 97 horsepower, complete with a stop/start system that Nissan says helps make this powertrain one of the most efficient in the world. Buyers can also opt for diesel and non-supercharged engines if they so choose.
While periodically rumored, Nissan has no plans to bring the model to North America, but with sales in 56 nations and assembly in four different countries, the little Micra remains a big deal worldwide. You can check out an official video and press release below for more information.

Mon, 03 Nov 2014Nissan's reality show/motorsports program, GT Academy, is set to return to Spike TV for its fourth season on Friday, and in anticipation, the Nismo team has issued a new video that gives some of its fans a taste of the racing lifestyle.
It all starts innocently enough, with fans test-driving a 2015 Nissan 370Z Nismo, only to have a sudden stop quickly transforms things into something a bit more exuberant and special. Panoz mulls suing Nissan for ZEOD RC's Deltawing likeness
Tue, 17 Sep 2013Imitation might be the sincerest form of flattery, but in racing, where something as simple as a car's shape can lead to a competitive advantage, imitation can be a big no-no. That reality is being played out right now, with the DeltaWing prototype and the Nissan ZEOD RC. The two cars, as you can see from the images above, bear a striking resemblance to each other. They're so similar, in fact, that Dr. Don Panoz, one of the big names behind the DeltaWing program, is assigning some legal eagles to investigate any patent infringement.
The similarity shouldn't be a shock, though. Both cars are penned by Ben Bowlby, and the DeltaWing - which will be arriving as a coupe in the very near future - had Nissan branding and power for a not-insignificant amount of time. But for Panoz, the ZEOD RC's resemblance is just a bit too much, as he told Autoweek, "It's been interesting to watch people from Nissan trying to dodge the question, but the fact is that in their own press release they admit that the configuration of the ZEOD is the same as the DeltaWing. And we do have patents, in fact another one was just issued last week. We are in discussions with our legal advisors and we'll see what happens."
Frankly, it's not difficult to see what Panoz means. The general shape of the ZEOD RC, with its wide rear track and narrow front track arrangement - not to mention the headlights mounted over the rear wheel arches and any arrangements not visible under the body - are so reminiscent of the DeltaWing that differences like the shape of its closed cockpit and more upright front end might not prove different enough to avert Panoz's legal action. We'll stay with this one and let you know as more becomes available.
