I'm going back to college and so I'm selling my 1994 300zx Twin Turbo for $10,999. The car has been driven about 4,250 miles per year and now has 85,000 miles. Mechanically the car is in EXCELLENT condition. It passed a Smog Test a few months ago. There are No leaks or weird sounds coming from the engine. All drive belts have been replaced. It has a new high performance clutch. The battery is in good condition. The radiator has no leaks and all fluids are at the proper level. The interior is in great condition, nothing is broken, stained, ripped, or scratched. The bodywork has one dent on the driver side rear fender and a few scratches that can be seen in the pictures.
The Kelly Blue Book value is $11,000. for it. I'm not asking for any thing for the aftermarket equipment that comes with the car, which includes: Stillen high flow intake, computer chip, and Borla exhaust, good for 400 horse power. Stillen body kit made of urethane and carbon fiber rear spoiler.18 inch Antera wheels and Yokohama tires. Momo shift knob and gas pedals. 'Qashqai' so hard to pronounce even Nissan is poking fun at it
Mon, 14 Apr 2014In the US, there aren't a lot of vehicle names that are very difficult to pronounce. Maybe the Volkswagen Touareg might trip up a few people, but by and large, we've got it pretty easy. Our friends in Europe, though, have a bigger challenge, thanks to vehicles like the Nissan Qashqai. Yes, Qashqai.
Like the Touareg, the Qashqai draws its name from a nomadic people. While Nissan isn't making up words, then, it's still not an easy name to pronounce. Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson routinely calls it a kumquat, for example. According to Nissan, though, it's pronounced "Cash'kai".
To get its point across as the second-gen Qashqai, the close cousin of the US market Rogue, prepares to launch in Australia, Nissan set up a little event at a coffee shop. Customers would place their orders, only to have the spelling of their names butchered rather badly. On the other side of the cup, there's a message from Nissan and the Qashqai.
Nissan moving next-gen Murano production from Japan to Mississippi
Fri, 11 Jan 2013Celebrating 10 years of operation at its Canton, Mississippi assembly plant, Nissan has announced that it will be adding a seventh vehicle to the plant's portfolio. Starting in 2014, production of the next-generation Murano will move from Japan to Mississippi alongside its platform mate, the Altima, which is a part of Nissan's plan to build 85 percent of its US products domestically.
In addition to the Altima, the Canton facility also produces the Armada, Xterra, Titan, Frontier and NV vans, and back in June, production of the Nissan Sentra production was moved to Canton creating an extra 1,000 jobs. At this point, there is no indication about how many jobs the Murano line will add, if any.
This is the second announcement this week of production being added in the US as Honda said that the Accord Hybrid production would move to Marysville, Ohio where the standard Accord sedan is currently built.
