I rebuilt the motor NA and drove it for about 5k miles before turbo charging.  I’ve driven it about 15k since. My goals were only for 300HP or so.  Engine management has been my issue from day one. I have two Enthalpy tuned ECUs, one for my set-up with the N60 MAFS and one for a N62.  It runs incredibly rich on either ECU.  Not verified on a wideband, but the black smoke under hard throttle is a good indication, and I have a narrowband gauge installed.   I have an Innovate LC-1 wideband gauge kit which I have not installed, it and both ECUs and MAFS come with the car.

It bogs under acceleration until it reaches operating temp, and over 4k RPM if you just floor it.  Easing on the throttle and acceleration is smooth well into boost until redline.  It's got to do with injector scaling and temperature correction.  Like I said, I drive it practically every day, and it’s really quite civil.  It’s just a b-tch when it’s cold.  Can be corrected with a SAFC, but for what the NEO costs, I was planning on going NIS-TUNE.

Other issues:

Flex coupling on mid-pipe is worn through (crossing the speed bump everyday at work)

Exhaust leak (turbo to manifold gasket)

Taking the radio out

All the parts and extras I have for it will come with the car:

All ECUs (I have two socketed, one not)

The LC-1 Wideband and exhaust mount (NEW)

Hatch cover and Stock tails

Complete Timing Kit – leftover from rebuild, that kit came with one also

Fiberglass Fender Flares (NEW, never installed)

Some other misc things I can’t recall (I’ve got a box full), but all my 240 stuff goes with the car.

2013 Nissan NV200 hauls itself into McCormick Place

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

Nissan has already announced that its NV200 will be New York City's Taxi of Tomorrow, but now small businesses can also take advantage of the compact commercial van when it goes on sale this April. Unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show, the Nissan NV200 bound for North America has been stretched by almost eight inches compared to the same van that has been on sale in other global markets since 2009. The 2013 Nissan NV200 will be built in Cuernavaca, Mexico and sold at select Nissan dealerships with a starting price of $19,990 (*excluding the $845 destination charge).
At that price, the NV200 costs thousands less than lead competitors like the Ford Transit Connect and the Ram C/V Tradesman, although it does deliver less cargo volume than both as well. Despite its longer body, the NV200's 122.7 cubic feet of volume comes in just under the 129.6 cu-ft for the Ford and well under the Ram's 155.5 cu-ft cargo capacity. The split rear doors and dual side sliding side doors will give plenty of access to the NV200's cargo area, however, and Nissan says the van is wide enough to accommodate a standard pallet.
The NV200 was designed as much to be a mobile office as it is a hauler, so Nissan made the cabin as such. The passenger seat back can fold down creating a flat space for a laptop, and the center console has been specifically designed for hanging file folders. The base NV200S includes power windows, a two-speaker AM/FM/CD audio system and a 12-volt power outlet, while the NV200 SV (starting at $20,980) adds features such as cruise control, six floor-mounted cargo tie downs, power mirrors and door locks and remote keyless entry. Options include the $950 Technology Package (available on SV only and adds navigation, backup camera and satellite radio), $250 for Bluetooth and $190 for glass added to the rear cargo doors.

Nissan gets new NA boss, lowered forecasts in management shakeup

Sat, 02 Nov 2013

José Muñoz, a Nissan and Infiniti sales and marketing vice president, will replace Colin Dodge as Nissan's new North America chief, come Jan. 1, as part of a wide-ranging management shuffle, Automotive News reports. Dodge will remain on Nissan's board, be assigned to special projects and report directly to CEO Carlos Ghosn.
Nissan is working on reorganizing its global operations into six regions, each with a new chief: North America (Muñoz' territory), Latin America, Japan-Southeast Asia, China, Europe and Africa-India-Middle East. Currently Nissan divides the globe into three regions, the Americas, Europe-Africa-India-Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Nissan also lowered its sales forecast from 5.3-million vehicles to 5.2 million for the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2014. Last year, the company sold 4.914 million in the same period. In May, after Nissan's market share had fallen to 7.7 percent, Ghosn said he wants to double sales in the US by 2017 and increase its market share in the country to 10 percent.

Nissan GT-R Nismo 'Ring time makes it track's 'fastest volume production car' [w/video]

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

Performance cars are fun to drive and all, but at the end of the day ,owners drop big bucks on what are often ridiculously unpractical vehicles for the bragging rights. And when it comes to ultimate bragging rights, few get more publicized than lap times for everyone's favorite stretch of German pavement, the Nürburgring. Enter the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo.
After rumors about a 7:08 lap time appeared yesterday, Nissan confirmed has confirmed the news today with video footage of the run, which took place on September 30. The official lap time is just seven minutes and 8.679 seconds, putting the GT-R Nismo about 11 seconds off the pace of the Porsche 918 Spyder - some six seconds quicker than the far costlier Lexus LFA. Some admitted - but hard-to-spot - missteps by Nissan driver Michael Krumm would indicate that the car actually left some time on the table.
With this time, Nissan claims that the 595-horsepower GT-R Nismo is the "fastest volume production car" around the track. The definition of "volume" could surely be contested here, though, considering the small numbers in which the GT-R is sold. While we don't have global GT-R sales figures, this year has only seen 1,063 units sold through October, and there were close to 1,300 sold in all of 2011 and about 1,200 in 2012. While this loosely defined claim will only add to the Nürburgring lap time squabbling, it is no less impressive. Check out the record run for yourself in the video below, which is accompanied by an official press release.
