1988 Nissan Silvia K's Imported From Japan! Us Legal , Fully Restored, Rhd Orig on 2040-cars
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Common emails/questions/answers Is this converted? -THIS IS AN ORIGINAL RHD SILVIA! THIS IS NOT A 240SX. IT IS A 1988 NISSAN SILVIA K's FROM JAPAN. CAR HOLDS JDM VIN AND IS NOT REVINNED. Whats your reserve? -AS PER MOST AUCTIONS, MY RESERVE IS PRIVATE! I didnt read your ad whatsoever, but where are you located? -PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE VEHICLE IS IN HAMILTON ONTARIO...CANADA AND BUYER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TRANSPORT. Is it registered in the USA? -No, currently titled and registered in Ontario Canada, HOWEVER the VEHICLE IS 26Y/O to Production year, thus giving it the go ahead for registering in the USA without issue, with a HS7 form (I will include this document, and current valid registration and history check) No loopholes or fraud required! I have no feedback, but I wish to bid, what can I do? -Please forward me your contact details, and we can discuss further. How much power does it make? -I decided to leave the power adders up to the future buyer. I built the car as a cruiser, so I didnt have a need for large HP output. With a simple tune, turbo upgrade and fuel injectors, 400hp isnt very far away. Issues with car: -LH seat has some bolster wear -Cefiro style turn signals for front bumper are required (missing) (easily found here on ebay, 1988 Cefiro bumper lights) -Couldnt find new RezaxII wheels, wheels are nice used set, some rash and minor pitting from age. Look great as you can see! -It may be "too low" for some people, or transport companies. I would be willing to raise the car up for transport purposes, and you can adjust it to your preference. -Turns many heads, and gets lots of looks. Just in the short trip to get an alignment, I noticed the attention this car grabs, along with feedback on social media, this one is a show stopper! If you dont want to get noticed, this is not the car for you! |

Nissan Juke facelift teased before Geneva
Tue, 25 Feb 2014Nissan's funky Juke mini-CUV is set to get a refresh at next week's Geneva Motor Show. If you're thinking that the Japanese automaker will take the opportunity to scale-back some of the crossover's polarizing exterior, think again: Nissan claims the new vehicle will feature an "even more striking design." And with stronger-than-expected sales worldwide for the model, we don't see the company's designers capitulating with a meek-faced mid-life update.
For now, the only look we have of this "striking design" is the teaser image shown up top (go ahead and click on it for a closer look). Nissan is also promising improvements in efficiency and refinement, although what that means for the Juke's fun-to-drive character is unclear.
Because we live in an age dominated by social media, the new Juke will perform a slow striptease on a variety of social networks, according to Nissan. It won't be a full reveal, but there should be some clues as to what the CUV's overall look will evolve into, before it's shown in all its glory in Geneva.
Nissan ZEOD RC on track and from behind the wheel
Wed, 17 Sep 2014The Nissan ZEOD RC hybrid racecar has had mixed success in its competition life. It was invented to do a completely electric, high-speed lap at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which it was able to do in practice. However, when the big event actually came, the car lasted less than an hour before it had to bow out with transmission issues. Nissan hasn't completely given up on its experiment, though. The experience (and possibly some of the tech) is going to help with the GT-R LM racer next year, and now the ZEOD is getting its chance to see how it handles the Top Gear test track.
Unfortunately, it's not The Stig piloting the ZEOD; instead, the magazine's motoring editor Ollie Marriage is the lucky man for the job. The car's sharp shape seems to be a good metaphor for how it handles because it just seems to dart around the track. Its tiny, turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with 400 horsepower and two electric motors put out a claimed 750 horsepower, and that seems like plenty for the relatively short Top Gear course.
As usual of Top Gear, the cinematography here is fantastic, and a second video shows off a single lap of the course from around the car. It's amazing to watch, especially with its big screen constantly showing the camera view out of the rear. Scroll down to see both.
Updated Nissan Micra gets fresh look, more tech and 'New' name
Wed, 11 Sep 2013A few months ago, Nissan gave the Micra (which is not for US consumption) a substantial styling update that included new front and rear fascias, and stuffed more technology into the interior, such as USB ports and auxiliary inputs for audio and a new media touchscreen. Though it's still based on the same fourth-generation architecture, Nissan now calls it the New Micra.
Overall the New Micra - also known as March in some markets - looks similar to but more taut than the vehicle that launched in late 2010, thanks to more angular headlights, a new bumper, a sculpted hood and a revised grille with the Nissan logo sitting inside a chrome V, which establishes a stronger link to Nissan's "corporate look." The rear end receives less-drastic changes, such as a new bumper, LED taillamps and a new infill panel at the bottom of the tailgate.
