2009 Mini Cooper S Hatchback 2-door 1.6l Panorama Roof Heated Leather Seats on 2040-cars
Milford, Connecticut, United States
This is a fabulous car! No mechanical problems. We are the second owners and got it just over a year ago. Both we and the previous owner have taken impeccable care of this car. No eating and it has been in a completely smoke-free environment. The car has a 1.6L turbo engine. We purchased bike racks from MINI and while not shown in the pictures, they will be included in the sale of the car. Fits two bikes. The car also includes driver and passenger all-weather floor mats-great for the rain and now. The car is equipped with bluetooth to connect your cell phone or other device. Also included is a bumper guard if you would like it (we used to have the car in NYC). There are minor dings and scratches on the back bumper.
The sale can be completed in cash or via PayPal. Upon receipt of funds, you can pick up the title and come back for the car when you have plates, or bring plates and we will let you take the title and car together. If you are too far, we can mail you the title and bill of sale, you send us plates and have the car arranged to be picked up. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. |

Mini Paceman modified by Roberto Cavalli for annual Life Ball charity
Fri, 10 May 2013This year's award for Life Ball Mini designer goes to Roberto Cavalli. The Life Ball is a charity event held in Vienna, Austria every year that raises money to fight the spread of HIV and AIDS. Since 2001, the year of its reintroduction, Mini has been involved with the ball, auctioning a car that has been made over by a world-famous designer. This year Cavalli gets the nod and a Paceman for a canvas.
The iridescent brown/black paint is the eye-catcher in the sketch above (click to enlarge), but don't forget to note Cavalli's logo on the roof. We're not sure what other flourishes he has in mind for the car, but those in attendance will find out on May 24 when it's unveiled at the Cavalli store opening in Vienna. The press release below has more details.
Lego Mini Cooper coming in August [w/video]
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Lego isn't just for kids anymore. A while back, the company cleverly realized that adults liked its connecting blocks as much as kids but wanted a more sophisticated project to take on. It offers a whole set of Expert models, including a wickedly cool Volkswagen Bus from a few years ago. Now, it's taking aim at automotive enthusiasts again with the recently announced classic Mini Cooper set due to go on sale on August 1 for $99.99.
This is a seriously cool Lego model. At nine inches long, five inches wide and four inches tall, the car is certainly compact (as a Mini should be), but it contains 1,077 pieces. It's finished in the classic Mini look with a British Racing Green body with white roof, hood stripes and mirror caps. The doors, hood and trunk all open up, and there's even a little, simulated engine. The interior includes features like a turning steering wheel and movable gearshift and handbrake. In the boot, there is a cute picnic set, and even a spare tire hidden under the floor. If you want to show off your handiwork after it's built, the roof is removable to peer inside.
Expect dads around the world to be unwrapping these when the holidays roll around. Scroll down to watch one of Lego's designers detailing its latest set and read the full release about it, below. The gallery shows the Mini off from all of its blocky angles, as well.
2014 Mini Cooper goes to the dogs
Tue, 17 Dec 2013We wouldn't buy a car to make a dog happy, but Mini's latest commercial, Bullheaded, would have you believe that dogs like the new 2014 Cooper as much as humans. Regardless of the commercial's target audience (Spike The Bulldog, or his owner?), it does show a couple new tidbits about the car, such as the new center dial touchscreen, ambient lighting and the nifty tinted pop-up display on top of the dashboard that reminds us of the head-up display on the new Mazda3.
Head below to watch Spike and his owner drive the Mini in Downtown Los Angeles (and the back lots of Paramount), and to get a behind-the-scenes look at how the commercial was made.
