I've ever driven!!! It's a right hand drive 1975 Austin Morris Mini! Details are as followed: 1275cc motor 4 Speed Front Disc Brakes SUPER RARE 13" Mahle BBS Wheels w/50 series tires Koni Shocks Rally Lights BMW Seats (I think) Fitted Mini Car Cover Workshop Manual This little gem starts up, runs strong and stops on a dime every time!!! It's quick off the start and handles like a go cart! Not to mention you can park 2 of them in 1 parking spot. As with any vehicle nearing 40 year old there are going to be certain issues, and this one has very few. The instrument gauge that houses the gas/temp gauge doesn't work and the speedo is about 10mph off (I believe it's due to tire size). There are a few rust spots as pictured, because it is from England you know! And as with everything British with a motor, it leaks a tad bit of oil from time to time. If you don't want to get noticed, don't buy this car! At least half of the people that see this car will point, stare, do a double take, smile, look it over, follow you home and generally just want to talk to you about it! And if you have a dog, let her ride shotgun and that just adds to the fun! These cars are averaging about $20,000+ restored! I've owned this car for a couple years, drive it almost every day and it has been 99% problem free! It has a clear Oregon title in my name and is current on registration. This classic vehicle is sold as is where is with no warranty implied, so please ask questions if you have them. You're more than welcome to come out and and inspect it personally and take a ride! 28 "flexible ladies" cram into a Mini Cooper [w/video]
Sat, 17 Nov 2012The Mini Cooper is now confirmed as a great car with which to pick up chicks-up to 28 of them at a time, to be specific. That's the number of limber ladies you can fit in a Mini, as proven earlier this week in London.
The flexible females used every available space in the car, including the footwells and dashboard, to set the Guinness World Record for the most people inside a 2012 Mini. They beat their own previous record of 27, set last year.
Organizer Dani Maynard said before the attempt that the girls had undergone extra training and stretching since last year's record-breaking stunt. "While we have not quite been able to fit any of the girls into the Mini's glove box, there is a surprising amount of space to utilise," she told UK news site Metro.
Mini celebrates racing success with John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013
Tue, 05 Mar 2013French drivers Stéphane Peterhansel and Jean-Paul Cottret drove a Mini Countryman to a class win at this year's Dakar Rally, and to commemorate their win, Mini has introduced a limited-volume car that will only be sold in France. The Mini John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013 might be a mouthful to say, but it's a fitting tribute to Peterhansel's eleventh Dakar win as this Countryman is painted to look like the rally car and only 11 will be sold in the Peterhansel's home country.
Sporting a similar green-over-matte-black paint scheme as the Dakar Countryman, the JCW Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013 also adds green accents to the full-length top and side stripes, the side marker lights and also contrasting stitching inside the cabin. Adding to the car's rally look, this special edition will also include the racers' number card on the front doors, Dakar decals on the front and rear and Peterhansel's signature on the hood. Grille-mounted rally lights, bright red brake calipers and unique 19-inch wheels with dark-painted inserts finish off the exterior design.

Mon, 03 Mar 2014With Jay Leno off the Tonight Show, he has all the time in the world to focus on his passion for cars and can even travel a little. Leno teamed up with two-time Dakar Rally winner Nani Roma to jump and slide a Mini Countryman All4 racing truck around the dunes in Death Valley, CA.
The Mini-branded trucks are highly modified for off-road duty. They have won the Dakar Rally consecutively in 2012, 2013 and 2014 and even took a 1-2-3 finish in the most recent running. The specialized Minis are propelled over the dunes by a BMW-sourced, diesel engine with a six-speed sequential gearbox and heavy-duty all-wheel drive system with a locking center differential.
It is amusing to see the big smile on Leno's face, and Roma appears a little worried while Jay is driving.
