Right hand drive.Cloth interior in fair condition.
Kieth's Conversion convertible. (started out as a hard top. Top was cut off and a roll bar added.) top is still serviceable. No holes or rips. A few rust bubbles in the usual places and the driver's door sags. But solid overall and everything works. Comes with 13" wheels and tires still have tread. Comes with a set of 12" minilites with bald tires. 998 engine runs but blows blue smoke. Pretty sure it needs rings. But comes with a spare 1098 in good condition. Has some aftermarket trim pieces and a cloth 25th anniversary interior. Comes with some other spare parts. Runs drives and stops. But will need trailered. |

Mini Cooper five-door exists and has been spotted
Fri, 09 Nov 2012The two-door Mini Cooper is getting two additional portals in its next generation. A coming five-door Cooper S with central exhaust has been spotted out testing, the idea presumably being that it will pose a better challenge to other small, premium hatches in the segment like the A1 Sportback from Audi. Based on the same UKL platform that will support the production version of the BMW Concept Active Tourer, the wheelbase has been lengthened to make more room for rear passengers.
It should be revealed on the auto show circuit at some point next year, getting buyers ready for its production in 2014. We'll find out then if it gets a special name and how it fits in with - or perhaps replaces - the Clubman.
Mini reveals new John Cooper Works concept ahead of Detroit
Tue, 17 Dec 2013BMW effectively hit the reset button when it unveiled the new Mini at the LA Auto Show last month, opening the door to a whole raft of new variants to follow - and this is the first.
Set to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show next month is the new Mini John Cooper Works Concept, a show car that previews the next hot hatch from the Anglo-Saxon automaker. Mini isn't saying much about what makes it tick, focusing instead of the design that sets it apart from the standard version we've already seen.
This JCW concept features a lustrous grey paintjob with bright red accents, 18-inch alloys and an upgraded aero kit, all aimed at making the Mini look that much sportier. It's got bigger air intakes where the fog lights would be, LED headlamps, a black grille frame, side skirts, a rear bumper with diffuser insert and a roof-mounted spoiler.
Mini John Cooper Works Paceman is a potent little hot hatch in a fat suit
Mon, 14 Jan 2013If there's one thing we're never going to complain about, it's that Mini has found it necessary to put the John Cooper Works treatment on every single one of its models. We love the JCW package across the board, and the final installment of the high-performance chapter (for now, anyway) comes in the form of the John Cooper Works Paceman, debuting here at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
The John Cooper Works formula hasn't been altered in any way here, and like the JCW Countryman on which the Paceman is based, it comes standard with Mini's All4 all-wheel-drive system. We're sure it'll be a total hoot, and with 218 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque on tap, how could it not?
