The it runs and drives ok ,but needs some work.I had planned to do it myself and completly restore it, but other obligations took center stage . Some of the things that Do Not work are- rear windows & sunroof will not open,cruise control, alarm,radio & antenna,hole in rear muffler (probable reason why it failed NJ emission test). There are some small rust spots on the exterior , some cracks on the dash , a couple of small tears in the interior. The odometer was broken for a while ; but now works. That is why the title has a estimated number not the actual mileage. I am including parts that I purchased - New rear muffler, front head light wiper blades, left & right rear fender trim, fuel filter,coolant res., bumper & trim restore polish, custom fit all weather car cover."

This car was purchased by me approx 10 years ago, I was the second owner. Then I gave it to a friend in Brooklyn who needed a car real bad with the condition He return it when he got on his feet. I then gave it to my step son and now it has made its way back to me. It is a great car with alot of potential with a bit of TLC from someone who has a passion to restore a classic cream puff . It runs and drives but needs some mechanical attention. It failed NJ emission inspection ,probably due to a hole in the rear muffler (I am including a new muffler in the parts).The interior and exterior is in fair shape for a car of her age. 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG

Make way for the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG, the most wonderfully preposterous car I have ever driven.
There is absolutely no reason why any two-seat roadster should be fitted with a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 developing 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque, but I sure am glad that Mercedes-Benz doesn't see things that way.
Drop into the leather-lined cockpit of this $213,145 provocateur, floor the accelerator pedal as I did over and over again, and 60 miles per hour falls in a traction-limited 3.9 seconds. Top speed has been electronically held to 186 mph (this apparently saves Gulfstream jet owners from embarrassment). Forget the SL550 and SL63 AMG, the valets will trip over themselves attending to the tycoon driving this thoroughbred - it's the real deal.

Mercedes to market Tesla-powered 2014 B-Class EV in U.S.

Looks like another Tesla Motors investor will be looking to cash in on their connection. Autoweek reports Mercedes-Benz will offer their B-Class in the U.S. with Tesla propulsion.
The magazine says their source at the German automaker confirms plans for a B-Class electric-only vehicle. While Tesla already provides battery packs for the battery-powered Smart ForTwo, the B-Class EV will reportedly have Tesla batteries, motor and other components. U.S. residents should be able to procure one sometime in 2014.
The same Mercedes source says plans for a hybrid B-Class have been postponed for now. Adding a range-extending, gasoline-powered engine to an electric vehicle would put the car into a different class for which rebates and incentives aren't as favorable in the States.

To the concern of nobody in particular, Mercedes-Benz will not be re-upping its Maybach line of ultra-luxury limousines. No, instead the German automaker will be stretching its already roomy S-Class, to make this upcoming 600 Pullman version of the decked-out beast.
The car in our new gallery of spy shots is sporting beefy B-pillars and a massive set of rear doors that should allow perfectly graceful ingress and egress from what is likely to be a palatial rear space. (In one photo we can even see a long-wheelbase S-Class in line with the new Pullman, handily exhibiting the size of the new variant.) The exterior modifications are otherwise obscured, though we can guess at revised front and rear fascia and lighting elements, based on both end being heavily taped for these test runs.
It's a good bet that the Pullman will make use of M-B's twin-turbocharged V12 engine, though sources indicate that a hybrid version might eventually be in the offing, as well.
