JEEP WAS ONLY TRAIL DRIVEN 3 TIMES I BUILT IT SO WE COULD TAKE ON DELAWARE BEACHES TO (FISH) MOSTLY PLAY NEVER GOT STUCK ANYWHERE!
Most of the time jeep was driven to give quotes for my tree company and to get back and forth to the beach on weekends.
1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee 130,000 miles. Has 5 and a half inch lift that will fit 33-35 inch tires. Comes with 31 inch tires (on it now ). The lift has all adjustable components. Nothing cheap was done on this Jeep. Has fully adjustable JKS track bars, front and rear has adjustable JKS quick disconnect sway bar links. Has fully adjustable front and rear control arm both upper and lower, all 8 are adjustable. Also has a drop pit man arm, not sure how much of a drop. The components that are adjustable will fit up to an 8 inch lift, just needs bigger springs. The only thing wrong with the Jeep is the power windows will not work, the driver's side is stuck down, and 1 rear tire needs replaced (tread is peeling off). No time to fix. Motor is a 5.2 V8. Runs great, no taps, ticks, smoking or oil drips. Transmission shifts smooth. Driveable now if you put on a new tire. If you have a reasonable offer we will consider it. Trades will also be considered but money talks so i would perfer a little cash also if you want to trade . The lift is only 2 years old and would cost more than the price of the jeep thanks
No its not a 4.0 they are good motors but the 5.2 V8 is the better of the 2. Ive owned 3 jeeps with 4.0 had little problems here and there and sucked the gas down faster than the 5.2 thats in this jeep. Its the same motor in my dodge ram and my Ram has 188 thousand miles and runs great pulls 12000lbs everyday almost for 5 years the 5.2 is almost indestructable thanks again

Chrysler recalling nearly 141k vehicles over electrical woes
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Software glitches that randomly illuminate warning lights and cause instrument cluster blackouts are forcing Chrysler to recall 140,800 vehicles, The Detroit News reports. The automaker is recalling 132,000 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokees, 91,559 of which are in the US. In addition to the Jeep recalls, Chrysler is adding 10,800 2014 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks to the list for similar problems.
Chrysler reportedly says, "Both events occurred infrequently and appeared to resolve themselves by tuning the vehicle's ignition off and then on."
Engineers discovered a problem with the anti-lock-braking system software that causes the instrument cluster display of the Grand Cherokee to illuminate warning lights and black out - even its ABS and electronic stability control systems are affected. To fix the Jeeps, Chrysler will update the vehicle's software.
25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango SUVs recalled over brake feel
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Chrysler has announced that it is recalling over 25,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango SUVs from several markets over concerns about brake feel under hard braking. The affected models are from the 2012 and 2013 model years, although the actual dates of production aren't available. 18,700 are in the US, while 825 are in Canada, 530 are in Mexico and a further 5,200 outside of North America.
According to a statement, Chrysler was informed of the issue by a component supplier for the Ready Alert Braking system, which primes the brakes in anticipation of an emergency stop. A component in the system was restricting the flow of brake fluid too much.
As Chrysler is quick to point out, the way the brakes functioned was in compliance with regulations and there are no reported cases of drivers losing braking power. Instead, the issue rests with what Chrysler calls a pedal feel that "was not consistent with customer expectations." So it would seem Chrysler is being proactive and fixing a problem not because there's a legal issue at work, but simply because it doesn't feel the way the manufacturer wants it to. Well done.
NHTSA investigating power modules on Chrysler Group SUVs and minivans
Mon, 29 Sep 2014The Center for Auto Safety is officially petitioning the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to begin scrutinizing alleged problems with the totally integrated power module (TIPM) on about 24 Chrysler Group SUVs and minivans. The advocacy group claims that the part's failure can cause affected vehicles to stall or not start at all. NHTSA is still looking into the accusations and deciding whether a full investigation is actually warranted.
The CAS petition claims at least 70 TIPM failures, but according to NHTSA, six of the complaints are for models that don't have the modules. In 34 of the reported cases, the vehicles refused to start, and in 17 of them the engine stalled. There were also two allegations of smoke and one of a fire. However, none of these affected airbag deployment or resulted in a crash.
This petition isn't the first TIPM-related problem for Chrysler Group. A recent report in the New York Times alleged that it found 240 complaints potentially related to the issue on NHTSA's website alone. In September, the automaker also recalled 230,760 examples worldwide (188,723 in the US) of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango replace the fuel pump relay circuit inside of the TIPM-7 with one external to the unit. The original part could allegedly cause the models to stall without warning. Even earlier, the company also recalled about 80,000 examples of the Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Nitro in 2007 to have the module reprogrammed.
