This 1984 Jeep CJ 7 Laredo 4x4 which spent its whole life in SoCal and has original paint, absolutely no rust issues and original miles. It is a Turn Key Jeep, jump in and drive home, the jeep was always garaged! Engine: 6 cylinder original motor that starts right up, sounds amazing, runs flawless and very powerful. The motor idles perfect and has plenty of power ,no smoke. Transmission: Manual 4 speed transmission that shifts perfect without any grinding, popping or whining. 4x4 works fine but I've not had it out in the sand dunes or mudding The transmission and clutch shift perfectly and the jeep stops on a dime. Suspension: It has 2" lift. The Jeep drives great. Body: Body is in great condition and original. There is absolutely no rust on this Jeep. This 1984 Jeep Laredo which spent its whole life in SoCal and has original paint, It does have NO rust on the underbody/undercarriage, interior floors and a nothing on the windshield frame. It has almost NO scratches and blemishes what is unbelievable for a 29 year old Jeep. The front bumper and grill is like new. Paint: The exterior is original color Black and looks great, you can still see the factory rivet marks and the natural "waves" that the jeep had when it was born. Jeep comes with original hard top and hard doors. The original paint is very shiny, reflective and shows like new. The decals are like new. Hardtop: Factory original hardtop No cracks, cuts or damages. Interior Gauges/switches: The interior is completely original Brown with dark Brown lining, It does not have a rip, stain or color discoloration. The Heater blows warm and all blinkers, horn, switches, gauges work without problems. The door windows easily roll up and down. The original dash pad there. Interior seats are all original : Seats are in perfect original condition. Overall: This Jeep is beautiful inside and out. It drives great. Jeep dealer buries WWII Willys GP in showroom floor
Tue, 04 Nov 2014The Willys MB Jeep earned icon status during World War II thanks to its ruggedness, simplicity and go-anywhere ability. Following the war, it didn't take long for the handy vehicles to be scooped up by the public, and a brand slowly grew around the vehicles that has continued to thrive. Fast-forward to present day, where it's not uncommon for auto dealers to try to grab some of the magic of yesteryear by displaying classic models to connect customers with their brands' proud histories. Now, a Canadian Chrysler Group dealer is taking that notion to the extreme by actually making a vintage WWII Jeep part of its foundation.
Bay King Chrysler in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, recently completed its new showroom, and the franchise really wanted to show its dedication to the Jeep brand. As dealer principal Jamie Richter tells Autoblog, the inspiration for the Jeep installation came from his brother, who became fascinated with a home that had a glass floor looking down into its wine cellar. The company already had the 1943 Willys MB to display, but it had originally planned to build a jungle gym around it for customers' kids. Now, the classic is literally in the floor as customers enter. Richter tells Autoblog that customer reaction so far has been "fantastic."
It's certainly a novel way to bring people into the showroom, and seemingly a nice nod not only to Jeep, but to the men and women who served in the war. If you want to see more about how the Jeep was actually installed and what it looks like, check out this video.

There are three sentences that, for this reviewer, define what needs to be conveyed about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The first: it is very good.
Jeep spent 27 years building the Cherokee and its brand, from 1974 to 2001. Twelve years ago, the Cherokee nameplate rolled away into the distant hills and retirement, at least here in the NAFTA colonies, and it was replaced by a loaded word we knew as "Liberty."
Chrysler accelerates Jeep recall repairs from 2018 to March

You may remember that Jeep's unusual fix for this recall involves fitting a trailer hitch.
The recall of about 1.5 million models of the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee over fuel tanks may finish far sooner than originally estimated. In a new filing from Jeep's parent, Chrysler Group, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company says that it can complete the repairs for the affected vehicles by March 2015, much sooner than the previous estimate of sometime in 2018. Jeep predicts the total cost of the campaign will be around $151 million.
