For sale by owner, Jaguar collector. Selling one of the car from my collection , making room for another one I have in mind. Really enjoyed this car, it is the best of Jaguar design at the time, color combination and trim. It will stand proud even 20 years from now. Still turning heads wherever driven. Once every couple of weeks when I take it for a spin. It has no warning lights, everything works as it should. I am a collector and my cars get treated right. Never raced, always serviced, and washed. Interior is very clean, many people surprised to see it so clean, but then again, all my cars I choose to be that way to begin with. I do take good care of each and everyone of them. The paint does have some blemishing from the sun but it only noticable when looked at closely. For the year, mileage and condition this is a STEAL, and simply the best deal out there! You can bring it to your standards if you choose to refresh the paint but to me its better when its all original. Mechanically the car is great. Everything works as it should as you would expect it to. Cold air, music sound perfect , seats are comfortable tires are expensive brand and almost new. Supercharged makes a pleasant purr when you drive it, I am sure you would like that. I can help to arrange shipping. You can pay shipping when you recieve the car or when you book the shipper. 542-HP Jaguar XJR to debut at New York Auto Show
Wed, 20 Mar 2013Jaguar has just announced that a higher-than-ever performance version of its XJ flagship will be coming to this year's New York Auto Show next week. Joining the company's R lineup is this XJR, which will boast a stonking 542 horsepower from its supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine.
Though details about the new XJ are pretty slim - you can read Jag's teaser of a press release - we are told that the car will ride on a "bespoke chassis" and that some aerodynamics work has been done, as well. The one sultry image we have of the car shows a set of trim-specific wheels, lower sills and unique badging on the front grille.
The new XJR would seem to slot above the current top-dog XJ, the XJ Supersport. With a bump up of 32 hp versus the Supersport, performance should get a meaningful shot in the arm, as well. As for pricing, we'll have to wait for the NYC show to be sure. But other Jaguar models show an increase of between 15- and 20-percent between the R model and the next one down; that would indicate a price tag in the $130k range for a standard wheelbase XJR is in order.

Mon, 28 Apr 2014Jaguar has moved its Range Rover Evoque-bodied tests of the production C-X17 Concept from icy streets to the legendary Nürburgring, as work continues on the brand's first SUV.
Really, there's not a great deal of new stuff here. Based on the number plates, this is a different vehicle from the one we saw back in March, which we originally identified as the upcoming replacement for the Land Rover Freelander/LR2. The details, though, appear largely the same. The biggest distinction we can see between the March tests and this are the US-spec headlights, which add amber reflectors at their sides. Based on these shots, it does seem as if the C-X17 should be a fairly poised road vehicle, as the engineers hustle it around the 'Ring.
Of course, as soon our spies can capture images of a production-bodied C-X17, we'll be sure to pass those on to you. Jaguar Land Rover creates new Special Operations division for halo vehicles, bespoke commissions
Fri, 13 Jun 2014Jaguar Land Rover has announced that a new division of the British manufacturer will be dedicated to "bespoke commissions," as well as heritage products and apparel. Oh, and the new Special Operations division will also be behind JLR's halo cars from now on.
It's that last one that is the most tantalizing, as the last real halo product to see production from Jaguar was the XJ220. The Range Rover, meanwhile, has always had its own kind of halo reputation, although the Land Rover brand itself has never really gotten into the game with a dedicated model.
According to JLR, the new halo models will focus on ultra-high performance and luxury with a limited run of vehicles. The bespoke models, meanwhile, will give the wealthiest customers full sway over how vehicles are outfitted, with unique paints, trims and other accessories. The new SpecOps division will be run by John Edwards.
