What you are bidding on here is my "1986 Honda Prelude Special Edition".

This is an extremely rare car & model. Very few of this model were ever sold and not many of them left around. What makes this model so rare are the following things: It was the first year for fuel injection 2.0 engine, power steering, and 4 wheel disc brakes. Also was the first year for "Special Edition / Si Trim".  (In Canada they labelled it Special Edition and in the United States it was labelled 2.0 Si)

This car has not seen winter in 20 years. I had the body completely and properly restored 7 years ago. There is no rust and the under body is in excellent shape. Original engine with "matching serial numbers" that has always been taken care of and never abused. Car has never been modified and always had original parts replaced. Never missed any maintance & oil changes. Does not burn any oil. It has only ever been worked on by a certified Honda Mechanic since day one. I just had engine seals done and timing belt. This car runs and drives just like new. Garage kept and barely even seen much rain. Never been in any accidents and has clean title. It is however to be honest not in perfect cosmetic condition. The cosmetic flaws are some of the windows trims are peeling the black plastic and some are also faded. The other cosmetic flaw is the paint in some areas look a little dull and this is because I had taken it into a body shop last year for touch up work and it was not properly "buffed" so you can see in some spots it looks a little dull. However it is not to bad and there is no rust. It might be fixable with a good wax job or if you know how to use a buffer. I am not skilled in these areas. The interior is in great shape, no cracks anywhere on the dash. Only flaw in the interior is the drivers seat is worn. I had it taken in and patched up and it does not look that bad. I am also including with this auction a brand new full set of extra brakes for this car. The mileage on the speedometer shows 378063KM's but it really is 328063 because I had the cluster changed and it had more mileage showing on it so I've always kept a record of it.

Here is a list of all the new work and parts recently done on this car within the last year:

- Timing Belt & Water Pump
- Complete Brake Job Including New Calipers Front & Rear
- Fuel Pump
- All Engine Seals
- Suspension
- NGK Plugs & Wires

- Drive Axels

- Exhaust Front To Back
- Kenwood Stereo & Clarion Speakers Professionaly Installed
- Door Moldings

- Interstate Battery

This car needs nothing at all and drives 100% perfectly with no issues. This auction is perfect for any retro Honda collectors or for someone who wants a classic well built reliable car with everything already done on it. Winning bidder must make arrangements for pickup and a $500 deposit is required at the end of the auction. Note: If this car sells in Ontario, Canada I have no problem including a full safety / certify on it. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have regarding this auction. Please bid with confidence. Thank you for checking out my auction.

2014 Honda Accord V6 Touring

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

America's midsize sedan segment is one of the most crowded and fiercely competitive in the business. The Toyota Camry has long been our nation's best seller, while the Honda Accord has dutifully come in second place, like some sort of codependent Cal Naughton Jr. riding Ricky Bobby's back bumper.
There was that one year, 2001, when the Accord briefly broke the Camry's streak, marring what would today have been a 17-year-long run of best-selling car titles. The Accord pulled the opposite move in 2011, letting sales slip far enough to let not only the Toyota by, but the Nissan Altima and Ford Fusion, as well. Aside from those anomalies, the Camry and Accord have been first and second in this segment since before many of you readers could even drive.
It's 2014, and these frenemies have never before faced a threat to their world order as strong as today's class of family sedans. The aforementioned Altima and Fusion are perhaps the most capable challengers, but the Chevrolet Malibu, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, Volkswagen Passat and Mazda6 are all capable of convincing new buyers to walk their way.

Honda launches new Fit in Japan, has big expectations for North America

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

Honda has officially launched the Fit sub-compact in its home market, ahead of its eventual arrival in North America. The third-generation Fit is wildly important for Honda, with the company's president, Takanobu Ito, saying, "This is the most important model."
The third-generation Fit is a ground-up reworking of the car that we've come to know. It will pioneer Honda's new design language, Exciting H Design (seriously) and will also be the very first Fit to be manufactured in North America. Thanks to a Mexican factory that is scheduled to open in the spring of 2014, Honda will be able to produce 200,000 Fits for the North American market in North America, saving the brand a huge amount of cash.
As for that Exciting H Design, it's meant to be sleeker and more modern, according to Automotive News. It's not bad looking, but the overall design is far less important than what's under that hood. The vehicle you see above is a Fit RS, which has quite a resemblance to the rumored Fit Mugen. There's not a lot of detail on this model, but based on looks alone, we certainly hope it'll be coming to the North American market - it'd make a great Fit Sport. A hybrid variant will also come to the US market, and that car is returning impressive numbers on the Japanese cycle: 86 miles per gallon so far, thanks to the combination of an 1.5-liter, Atkinson-cycle, four-cylinder engine and a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission. That's a 35-percent improvement over the current, JDM Fit Hybrid.

Honda reveals updated rest-of-world Civic hatchback

Thu, 14 Nov 2013

The rest of the world's most recent Honda Civic was introduced for 2012, and it looks much the same as the 2014 model Honda will release in January to European and Asian markets. In fact, not much has changed, but a retuned power steering system, revised front and rear damping rates and rear wheel toe and camber adjustments are touted to make the hatchback drive better, World Car Fans reports.
There are some small visual changes, such as privacy glass for the lower rear window, a piano-black front bumper that previously was dark gray and piano-black trim replacing body-color pieces around the license plate area, tailgate and lower bumper. Inside, white stitching adorns the seats, steering wheel and knee pad along with aluminum and gloss-black accents placed around the center console area.
Of course, Honda won't be exporting this particular Civic to the US (or the recently unveiled Civic Tourer), so check out the photo gallery to see it in all its not-for-you glory.
