This Stang is a MONSTER and ready for some Summer fun! From the outside looking in you will notice that this Stang is basically stock with the exception of Clear Bumper Lights and upgraded 4.6L HP badges to add a subtle yet very clean look. Continuing with the exterior you will notice 18" Premium Factory Wheels wrapped in Hancook Tires. (Still have good tread). Now for the fun stuff. I bought this vehicle completely stock and have only done upgrades thru the expertise of American Muscle all of which have been professionally installed here locally. Under the hood you will notice right away the SR Chrome Strut Tower and huge AirAid Race CAI paired with 3 Custom Tunes (Street, Performance, & Race) from Bama Tuning! You will also see an SR Throttle Body Spacer. This Stang also boasts a Pypes H-Pipe paired with Flowmaster 60 Series Axel Backs that make for a tone that I can't say I've ever heard of from a Stang and I've owned several! Just after the exhaust I have installed a set of Ford Racing 3.73 Gears complete with install kit including new shims and seals. This goes extremely well with the Hurst Short Throw Shifter sitting in the middle of the console! For a little interior and sound upgrade I've installed a JVC In Dash screen that does just about anything you could ever want from a Head Unit. It offers Front Aux as well as iPod Connect and Pandora Radio. It also has a microphone connected for easy BlueTooth Phone options. It is paired with a Polk Audio 8" Subwoofer with enclosed box and Alpine 500W Amp! Everything on this vehicle has been maintained as far as maintenance goes, she has never seen snow, and has been upgraded with only the finest parts that money can buy! This has been a great car for me but unfortunately she needs to go to a home where she can be used more. The car is pretty much track ready and I just don't have the money to keep throwing parts at it so she must go! Feel free to contact me anytime via e-Mail at rsg516@gmail.com

Ford reveals automated Fusion Hybrid
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Autonomous cars may still be in their infancy, but more and more big names in the auto industry are diving in head first. Nissan is already making strides with a semi-autonomous Leaf EV and General Motors is planning to offer semi-autonomous tech by 2020. And then there's Google, doing its thing with a fleet of Toyota Prius. Now, Ford is showing off its latest automated effort, a driverless Fusion Hybrid.
Partnering with the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and State Farm Insurance, the project is part of Ford's Blueprint for Mobility, the company's plan for transportation beyond 2025. "The Ford Fusion Hybrid automated vehicle represents a vital step toward our vision for the future of mobility," Chairman Bill Ford said. "We see a future of connected cars that communicate with each other and the world around them to make driving safer, ease traffic congestion and sustain the environment."
The automated Fusion features four LiDAR infrared sensors that scan the road 2.5 million times every second, using a principle similar to the echolocation used by dolphins or bats. Using the infrared light emitted by the LiDAR, the car can draw a picture of everything within 200 feet to create a map of its surroundings. According to Ford, the sensors are able to tell the difference between a paper bag and a small animal from a football field away.
And the Top Gear UK Cars of the Year for 2013 are...
Tue, 17 Dec 2013Those loony Brits at Top Gear have named their Car of the Year, and if you're thinking it's the McLaren P1, Jaguar F-Type, Land Rover Range Rover Sport or Rolls-Royce Wraith, we're sorry to inform you that none of those Anglo automobiles earned the crown. In fact, the winner of Top Gear's most prestigious award is quite the surprise.
Of course, those cars weren't without their own awards. The P1 was the top hypercar (sorry, Porsche 918 and Ferrari LaFerrari), while the F-Type netted best convertible and the Range Rover Sport was voted SUV of the Year. Other honorable mentions included the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black and S-Class, the Porsche 911 GT3, the BMW i3 and the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The winner, though, wasn't even a high-dollar supercar. It was the Ford Fiesta ST.
Yes, the Fiesta ST beat out some off-the-wall cars like the revolutionary Volkswagen XL1 and the bonkers Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak, not to mention all the cars we listed above, to take the title of Top Gear Car of the Year. And if you've driven one, you'll completely understand why.
Does the new 2015 Ford Mustang have a burnout control system?
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Whether it's lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring or automatic emergency braking, most of the electronic systems we see emerging on new vehicles focus on safety. But there are some there just for enthusiasts. We're talking about systems like automatic throttle blipping for perfect downshifts, or launch control to get that textbook acceleration from a standstill. But the latest system could prove just the opposite of the latter.
Although it has given us most of the details, Ford is still keeping certain elements of its new Mustang secret. But emerging reports may have the skinny on one system which Ford is trying is darnedest to keep under its hat for the time being. That, according to unnamed sources cited by Motor Authority, is burnout control.
The system is reportedly designed to help novices execute the perfect smokey burnout - sort of like launch control, but specifically the opposite. The system could, according to elaborative speculation, lock the front brakes while spooling up the engine to optimal revolutions before dumping (or indicating the driver to do dump) the clutch. A cloud of tire smoke and a long pair of skid marks would then ensue.
