This is a 1929 Ford Roadster Truck. Has been previously restored to orignal condition except for updated Hydraulic brakes. Truck has been setting in a garage for 25+/- years so the paint is starting to peel and the tires are weather cracked. I purchased this truck several year ago at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville, KY. I had to put new wheel cylinders and brake shoes since they had frozen up from sitting so long. Cleaned out gas tank, replaced fuel float valve and screens. New battery. Truck started after only a few cranks and runs good. Clutch and Transmission shifts good. Have not driven on road, only up and down the drive way. Truck came with new 4 piece hood and new full door skins still in boxes, which will go with truck. Indiana title. Truck is for sale locally so reserve right to pull off Ebay as necessary.

Amelia Island 2013: 50 years of the Ferrari-slaying Ford GT40
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Originally developed with the sole purpose of being a Ferrari rival to compete at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Ford GT40 became a prominent racing machine in the 1960s in both Europe and the US. Not wanting to leave such an important car out of the fun, the 2013 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance also took time out from its other celebrations to recognize the 50-year anniversary of the GT40.
Over its short lifespan, the GT40 was offered in a handful of configurations, but the classic short-tailed (Mk I and Mk II) bodystyles were well represented... especially in Gulf livery. James Glickenhaus (of Ferrari P4/5 fame) had his bright yellow Mk IV in the field, and there were several others in this bodystyle, including one that has seen plenty of time on the track judging by its chipped-up nose.
As a fitting statement for the car's lengthy racing history, GT40 Chassis Number 1075 won this year's Concours de Sport award. This car took home the checkered flag at Le Mans in 1968 and 1969, and racked up a total of six wins in just 11 races.
Road & Track names its 2013 Performance Car of the Year
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Road & Track recently staged its first annual Performance Car of the Year test, pitting 13 new and updated performance cars against each other on track, then graduating the top six to a road test before picking a winner. Additionally, the magazine staff picked the best automobiles of the year in eight categories.
But first, let's cover the PCotY segment. Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood.
