This is a completely restored 1965 Ford Falcon. Custom front and back bumpers one of a kind. Two doors with no post. Very rare and hard to find. Only has 2004 miles on it since restoration. After market gages, new tires. This is a very beautiful car. Very fun to drive and gets plenty of attention. Runs and drives great with no problems. Car has been undercoated, all new interior, to many new things to list. Other than a few tiny chips in the paint there is only two minor spots on the car which I have pics of for you to see. One spot is about as big as a quarter, and the other is just a nick. This car is worth some serious cash. I have antique insurance through J.C. Taylor, and they put the value at 20,000, and it only cost $120 a year. If anyone has anymore questions about this car message or call me (606) 587-1284 or (606)791-0052. I do have this car for sale locally so I have the right to stop this auction at anytime.I'm only selling this because I'm building a 1979 Firebird Trans Am for my two sons, and I'm looking for another 79 trans am to do, so they both have matching cars. Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding.
Can help with shipping up to 200 miles for $.

First retail 2015 Ford Mustang headed to Barrett-Jackson

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Want to be the very first person to own a 2015 Ford Mustang GT? Here's what you'll need to do: be in Scottsdale, AZ on January 18 for the Barrett-Jackson auction and bring a very big checkbook. Having a passion for charity isn't a bad idea either.
Yes, the first 2015 Mustang to be sold to the public will be crossing the block at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, with proceeds from the auction going to JDRF, the charity formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
"Ford Mustangs have always been among the most popular collector cars at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car events," said the president of Barrett-Jackson, Steve Davis. "While every collector wishes they had snapped up the first Mustang sold in 1964, this is an opportunity to realize that dream in a different way."

Ford to pay $17.35 million over Escape recall

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

Ford had a bit of a recall spree around this time last year, with a pair of issues on the then-new 2013 Escape, followed by a recall of 423,000 2001 to 2004 Escapes because they might accelerate of their own accord. Accordingly, Uncle Sam pasted Ford with a $17.35 million fine because it took too long to inform customers, according to a report from Automotive News.
Ford agreed to settle with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, accepting the fine but not admitting fault. The recall, which afflicted Escapes with the 3.0-liter V-6 along with 217,000 Mazda Tributes from 2001 to 2006 and 2008, was due to faulty gas pedals that could stay down after a driver removed their foot.
Ford issued a statement regarding the fine, saying, "We take the safety of our customers seriously and continuously evaluate our processes for improvements. While we are confident in our current processes for quickly identifying and addressing potential vehicle issues, Ford agreed to this settlement to avoid a lengthy dispute with the government."

National Geographic Channel balances Ford F-150 on four coffee mugs

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Proving that there is still something to be learned on television these days, National Geographic Channel recently introduced a new series called Duck Quacks Don't Echo. On the first episode of this science/comedy show, host Michael Ian Black proposes the idea that a truck can be supported with a ceramic coffee mug under each wheel - yes, he says that the entire weight of a truck can be balanced on just four coffee mugs.
Looking to find out whether this is fact or myth, the show uses a regular cab Ford F-150, weighing in at 4,800 pounds, and four average coffee mugs. Lowered onto the mugs, the idea is quickly put to the test. Can the cups hold up under 4,800 pounds? If so, what, exactly, would it take to break them? Scroll down below to find out.
