For sale is my 1967 ford fair lane. I inherited it from my grandfather 12 months ago. He passed away and was in the process of dissasembling it for painting and interior. I do not know a whole lot about cars so have no use or know how for it. It has been sitting for the last 12 months. I do not know a whole lot of specifics of the car. Things I do know: built 429 with less than 500 miles, full flow master exhaust, fiberglass hood, doors, and trunk. Has racing seats inside and original couch seat in back. a good aftermarket aluminum radiator and full MSD ignition. The front suspension has also been cut off and converted to Mustang II style suspension. Has front disc brakes. as stated before car is disassembled. Everything such as bumpers, grill, seats, trim, weather stripping are not assembled and inside of the car as I do not have any car repair experience. other things I know that are wrong with the car: oil pan is stripped so the screw does not stay in it, there is no key for the vehicle, Driver side door needs to be aligned. Motor runs extremely well but needs oil pan screw fixed. There is probably low oil in motor since it has been sitting. One of the tires is low from sitting as seen in picture. Picture of vehicle in driveway is the car before disassembly. Vin if you want to look it up. 7k35c180159. First reasonable offer takes it. My grandpa paid 15000 for it, but I know now it is not worth that much due to it sitting and its disassembly. Please no low ballers. Make a reasonable offer and we can work something out.

thanks for looking

Drive Ford's new Mustang in Need For Speed Rivals

Mon, 16 Dec 2013

If waiting for the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang to hit dealerships is just too tall of an order, you'll be happy to hear that there is now an alternative means of getting behind the wheel of America's favorite pony car. The Mustang is making its video game debut in Need For Speed Rivals.
"We worked closely with the development team at EA to provide them with engineering data for the new Mustang, several months before we showed it to the rest of the world," said Ford product licensing manager Mark Bentley. "Computer design models enabled the game developers to create an accurate representation of the new Mustang before it goes on sale."
Players will have access to five unique designs for the Mustang, allowing a degree of individuality beyond solid colors and decals. According to Digital Marketing Manager Andrea Zuehlk of Ford, those designs are drawn from the four most popular designs on the Mustang Customizer, an online, mobile and tablet app that allows the public to design their own custom Mustang. A fifth design, penned by drift racer Vaughn Gittin, Jr., is also available.

Ford Fusion demand outstripping supply

Sat, 15 Jun 2013

The attractive new 2013 Ford Fusion has done wonders for the brand in the highly competitive midsize sedan segment - the vehicle is up nearly 22 percent compared to last year. But that sales momentum may soon hold steady due to low inventory levels of the new Fusion across the United States.
According to a report in The Detroit News, citing automotive data and Ward's Auto, Ford currently has a 39-day supply of the Fusion. That might sound fine, but a normally healthy average is about a 60-day supply. If Ford were to stop production on the Fusion today, there would only be enough vehicles available to get through another five weeks of sales, according to the News.
Currently, Ford produces the Fusion at its three-shift assembly plant in Hermosillo, Mexico, and will add production at its facility in Flat Rock, MI later this year. A Ford spokesperson told The Detroit News that when Flat Rock production comes online, the automaker will need to rush new stock out to the regions with the most demand for the Fusion. Ford has doubled its coastal retail market share, with huge amounts of growth in areas like Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami, the News reports.

Wrap up some fun with Ford's commercial vehicle configurator

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

Ford has combined multiple steps into one with its commercial vehicle configurator, which allows users to choose, design and place orders for the Transit, Transit Connect, E-Series vans and F-Series Super Duty trucks.
The most interesting part of the new configurator is a fairly robust design tool. Users are able to choose paint color and wrap the vehicle, and then create their own graphics. No materials are needed - Ford provides numerous background textures, text boxes, plenty of shapes and 20 categories of images including floral, construction, plumbing and skylines. Self-created designs or images can be uploaded to the system as well.
We played around with the design tool a bit and uploaded our own image to create the Autoblog Podcast Live van you see here. Feel free to check out the configurator and make your own design.
