First off Thank you for taking the time to look at my truck!

If you don't have the money DONT BID!

I DID NOT build this truck, I purchased it from the man who had it build. I will do my best to answer your questions. This has always been my favorite body style of Ford trucks we purchased the truck to splurge and have a little fun but now... I am trying to start a new business and need the money I have tied up in this truck to do so.

1997 Ford F-350. The truck has 106,000 original miles. The motor was pulled from a 96 dodge 2500 with 46000k on it. Only miles on it since conversion is about 3500k. The exhaust manifold and turbo still have paint on them!
Motor was completely gone through with a new after market camshaft.
Upgrades include:
new 215 pump new oringed head with 60lb springs
Aftermarket fuel system from diesel site.
twin turbo kit from industrial injection a 62mm over a K31.
Injectors consist of Dynomite Diesel 140's.
E4OD transmission built by Brian's Truck Stop (BTS) and is controlled by a PCS controller.
Cervini's aftermarket cowl hood
Truck is lifted in the rear 4" and the front 5".
Mickey Thompson 315/75/16 BAJA MTZ tires.
Bilstein 5125 shocks.
All new LED headlights, marker lights and tail lights.
All interior dash gauges work like factory along with after market gauges on pillar and overhead. Interior of truck is in really good shape. Exterior of truck is mint. The truck was put on the dyno when the conversion was finished and it made 509 hp with stock delivery valves in it.

The truck needs ball joints ( have not had time to put them in yet but I do have them). Also the ABS light came on yesterday but I will have this fixed before the truck leaves! The truck has a hole in the bed the previous owner had a stack on it.

The truck has only had three owners and has a clean CarFax and AutoCheck.

The truck has over $12,000 in up grades not including the 5.9 Cummins!
The turbo alone was over $4000!
Please don't waste my time! SERIOUS INQUARIES ONLY!
I am willing to negotiate some on the price but absolutely NO LOW BALL OFFERS!!!!
Any questions just ask if you want other pictures let me know of what!

Buy it now is $27,500 but I am open to reasonable offers.

$500 due at end of auction by PayPal. The rest due within 7 days by wire transfer, bank cahiers check or cash only! All money clears before truck leaves!

Next Shelby Mustang to wear GT350 nameplate

Fri, 21 Jun 2013

Earlier this month, rumors started to swirl 'round the web about the next-generation Ford SVT Mustang - the halo version of the all-new 2015 'Stang seen testing in the gallery above. Originally, we heard that the Shelby GT500 moniker would be dumped in favor of "a name you're familiar with," which some sources guessed could mean a return of the Cobra nameplate.
That might not be correct. According to Road & Track, citing a report from Mustangs Daily, the new range-topping Mustang will bring back the Shelby GT350 name - currently used on an aftermarket version of Ford's Pony produced by Shelby American (take a look at our recent Quick Spin of that car). Expect the new GT350 to be quite a bit different than the current GT500 - it will be all motor, using a V8 that's derived from the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote engine (though it will no doubt have a higher displacement). The GT350 will be a lot more powerful than the next Mustang GT, which is expected to offer something like 450 horsepower, but won't be quite as absurd as the 662-horsepower GT500 we currently enjoy.
The Shelby GT350 will reportedly bow with the rest of the new Mustang range at the 2014 New York Auto Show, which coincides exactly with the original Mustang's debut at the New York World's Fair in 1964. If that seems far out, don't worry, we'll be seeing the rest of the 2015 Mustang range before then, but Road & Track reports that the 2014 Detroit Auto Show stage will be reserved for the reveal of the next Ford F-150 pickup.

Leno drives Henry Ford II's all-original '52 Ferrari 212 Barchetta

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

The story of the relationship between Henry Ford II and Enzo Ferrari is absolutely fascinating. The two great men of the auto industry had what appeared to be a burgeoning friendship until Ferrari pulled out of a deal to sell his company to Ford in the '60s. The latest car featured in Jay Leno's Garage is a 1952 Ferrari 212 Barchetta that tells the very beginnings of that story.
This Prancing Horse was a gift to Ford from Enzo when the two companies were first thinking about merging, according to the curator of the Petersen Automotive Museum. Ferrari really wanted to show off its best so instead of the 212's normal V12, this car was fitted with the larger 2.7-liter unit from a Ferrari 225. The car has been almost unaltered since then. It still wears its original paint, and it's tires date back to 1954.
The great thing about the Petersen is that unlike a lot of auto museums, the people there actually drive the cars and keep them in working order. Once on the road with Leno behind the wheel, this Ferrari really sings. Unfortunately, he can't open it up too much because the 60-year-old tires really hold things back. Scroll down to watch this amazing piece of automotive history and learn it's possible effect on the styling of the original Ford Thunderbird.

Detroit 3 to implement delayed unified towing standards for 2015

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

Car buyers have a responsibility to be well-informed consumers. That's not always a very simple task, but some guidelines are self-evident. If you live in a very snowy climate, you generally know a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro might not be as viable a vehicle choice as an all-wheel drive Explorer or Traverse, for example. If you want a fuel-efficient car, it's generally a good idea to know the difference between a diesel and a hybrid. But what if it's kind of tough to be an informed consumer? What if the information you need is more difficult to come by, or worse, based on different standards for each vehicle? Well, in that case, you might be a truck shopper.
For years, customers of light-duty pickups have had to suffer through different ratings of towing capacities for each brand. For 2015 model year trucks, though, that will no longer be a problem. According to Automotive News, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler Group have announced that starting with next year's models, a common standard will be used to measure towing capacity. The Detroit Three will join Toyota, which adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers' so-called SAE J2807 standards way back in 2011.
The standard was originally supposed to be in place for MY2013, but concerns that it would lower the overall stated capacity for trucks led Detroit automakers to pass. Ford originally passed, claiming it'd wait until its new F-150 was launched to adopt the new standards, leading GM and Ram to follow suit. Nissan, meanwhile, has said it will adopt the new standards as its vehicles are updated, meaning the company's next-generation Titan should adhere to the same tow ratings as its competitors.
