Up for sale I have my completely worked 2004 FORD F350 Crew Cab, Short Bed Lariat 6.0L Diesel. The truck has 135,200 miles on it and is just getting broken in. This truck is a head turner and gets compliments everywhere I go. I am selling this truck because my wife is pregnant and will have a hard time getting up into the truck due to the lift kit. It is a shame to let it go. but unfortunately I have to. I am the third owner of the truck and has been meticulously taken care of. Oil has been changed every 7500 Miles with Rotella along with a REV-X Oil Additive. During the winter the REV-X Fuel Additive is run to keep from gelling.  I will know get to the good parts and go into the extras, this truck has. Keep in mind I am sure I have missed a few things but, the truck has over $30,000 in extras which I have receipts for everything in a folder along with all manuals

Here is what shes got:

AirRaid Intake, Silverline Dual turbo back exhaust, EGR Delete, Air Dog Fuel System, SCT Livewire TS programmer, 6in lift kit, 2in Spacers,20in BMF Wheels sitting on 37in Kumho Tires. LED Taillights, 3rd brake light and Tailgate lights, Head Studs and bulletproofed, Upgraded Suncoast Trans, Front and Rear Diff, Warn Hubs, Line-X Spray in bedliner, VIPER Remote Start and Security (Top of Line), KC Daylighters x4 and Lightbar, Tow Hooks, Weatherguard floor matts, Doubledin Pioneer Headunit with Infinity Speakers, Bluetooth, and many more. Like i said i have all the receipts and documents for everything done to this truck. Every Modification done to the truck has been done professionally. Paint is in great shape for 10 years old. There is a small tear in the captains arm rest, can be re-sown, also two knicks in the windshield which has been there since I bought it. Other than that the truck is in great shape. Everything I have for the truck goes with it along with all the documentation. Please let me know if you have any questions or need to see more pictures.

This vehicle is being listed for sale locally as well, I reserve the right to cancel the auction if sold elsewhere.

Ford Fiesta 1.0L EcoBoost sales robust in early going

Tue, 13 May 2014

Okay, okay, okay, so I was just a smidge wrong. Those that read my review of the Ford Fiesta with the new 1.0-liter, EcoBoost engine will know that while I really enjoyed the torquey little three-cylinder, I was concerned that Ford's decision to force 1.0-liter owners into a manual transmission, steel wheels and one trim level might hurt sales of the new engine. I was also concerned that the promised 45-mile-per-gallon highway rating wouldn't be enough to tempt buyers into trying an engine that's so far outside of what the general public is use to. My concerns, though, seem to have been for naught.
While not doing a booming business on the triple-equipped Fiesta, Ford is seeing a take rate of four to eight percent per month in the engine's first few months on sale. Now, four to eight percent might not sound like a lot - if, like last year, the Fiesta sells around 71,000 units, there'd be barely 5,600 1.0-liter models on the road. It is also small potatoes relative to the take rate on EcoBoost-equipped vehicles across the Ford range, which US sales analyst Erich Merkle estimates to be roughly 35 to 40 percent of retail sales. Still, according to The Detroit News, the 1.0-liter is getting adopted at roughly the same rate as the sparkling Fiesta ST, which should be a solid indication of just how well this little engine is doing.
The 1.0-liter's success "really speaks volumes, not just to what we're doing with the Fiesta, but with EcoBoost in general," Merkle told Autoblog.

Ford pulls official support from top-level NHRA teams

Sun, 11 Aug 2013

As the smallest team in the sport, it wasn't really a surprise when Dodge decided to pull out of NASCAR, but Autoweek is reporting that Ford is looking to pull the plug on its professional-level NHRA sponsorships following the 2014 season. With attendance and television ratings down, the article reports that Ford is just backing out of the top series but will remain active in the Sportsman classes of racing, which are geared more toward the grassroots and semi-professional racers.
This means that one of drag racing's biggest names, John Force, will be left looking for new sponsorship after next season. Force, 64, has been with Ford for 17 years, winning 15 championships in that time and winning almost half of all Funny Car events in his Mustang since he started working with Ford in 1997, but after 2014, there could be some big shakeups at John Force Racing.
According to the report, Force would consider is moving over to the Top Fuel dragster series, although he could also move to another manufacturer to remain in the Funny Car series. With Ford on the way out, this leaves just Toyota and Dodge as the remaining active automakers in the highest levels of drag racing.

Ford taken to task by gov't for Chicken Tax end-around

Mon, 23 Sep 2013

Ford is in a bit of a pickle for importing and selling Turkey-built Transit Connect cargo vans as passenger vehicles in the US, then converting them to commercial-vehicle specification stateside in an effort to bypass a 25-percent tax imposed on vehicles imported for commercial use. Automakers are required to pay a 2.5-percent tax on imported passenger vehicles.
The Blue Oval got into trouble for this in a January ruling in which U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials asked Ford to stop the practice of importing the Transit Connect vehicles with passenger seats, then removing and shredding them. Now Automotive News reports that Ford is appealing the ruling. The 25-percent "Chicken Tax," as the tariff is often called, is 50 years old and was enacted as a response to a German tariff on chickens. Like Ford, Chrysler bypasses the higher tariff, but it does so in a different manner. It partially disassembles Sprinter cargo vans before shipping them to the US, then rebuilds them at a plant in South Carolina.
But the ruling against Ford's strategy states that it "serves no manufacturing or commercial purpose" and is there to "manipulate the tariff schedule," Automotive News reports. As Ford's appeal goes through, it is importing the Transit Connect and paying the higher tax, hoping for a favorable outcome and planning to build the next-generation Transit Connect, which it plans to launch before the end of the year, in Spain.
