This 1979 ford F250 with the 5.8 V8 the truck also comes with a snow blade,I just used it this last season to push snow all controls operates correctly, the heater, wipers, and all lights and flashers and blinkler work as they should , brakes are in great shape and the truck has Power steering, No leaks, burns no oil, has new tires, new battery and it drives and handles very nicely down the hwy and straight down the road , it is very a reliable truck and has always started , its an automatic with the high and low lock and the transpher case is not married to the transmission.
I purchased this truck from the ashland fire department -Hint why the red and lights, they used the truck to push snow and as a brush fire truck to get them to the secluded areas in Ohio. the truck is overall in pretty good shape,Built Ford Tough, I drove this truck back to nebraska, it ran very smoothly and right down the interstate, the engine is a strong and runs great. The truck has some minor rust, and floor pans have been replaced , it does have a couple small rust areas and a few dents , but definatly repairable, this would be a awsome truck to repaint. It has been a great truck for me , and believe I am only the second or third owner. please see orginal truck title and note mileage.

Ford mulling EcoSport for US? [w/poll]

"We certainly have that ability. We're studying it very, very closely." Those are the words of Jim Farley, global head of sales, marketing, service at Ford. The investigation Farley is referring to is the possibility of selling the company's new EcoSport crossover in America.
The diminutive Fiesta-based EcoSport was developed for emerging markets like Brazil and, more recently, China, but it apparently may have a future in the States, where it would form a new entry-level rung below the Escape in Ford's already robust crossover stable. Ford has big plans for its tiny CUV - Farley tells Automotive News that the EcoSport is only available in 10 countries right now, but by 2017, its distribution will have mushroomed to 62 countries. At the time the second-generation model launched at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show as a 2013 model, Ford said the EcoSport would eventually be sold in nearly 100 markets worldwide.
The Brazilian- and Indian-assembled EcoSport is available with a variety of gasoline-powered engines, but the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder EcoBoost giving 118 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque would seem to be the powertrain of choice for America, as it was recently confirmed for the stateside 2014 Fiesta.

Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit

Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.

Toyota sells six of 10 of hybrids in California

In an apparent shot back at Ford's increasing market share of electrified vehicles and claim that it accepts more Prius trade-ins for its own hybrids than any other car, Toyota has flexed a muscle and played the numbers game to put the Blue Oval in its place.
Leaning on its hybrid market dominance in California, the Japanese automaker stated that six out of 10 hybrids sold in the Golden State are Toyota models. And it keeps coming: Year-to-date through May 2013, Toyota sold five times more hybrids than Ford. One of every two hybrids in California is a Prius model. In addition, Toyota notes that it has sold 1.5 million Prius vehicles in the US, 90-percent of which are still on the road today.
