2002 Ford Explorer Limited with power everything, leather, moonroof, memory seats, steering wheel controls, dual climate control, rear heat/ac, 3rd row seating, tow package, 4x4, 4.6L V8. Truck runs and drives great. Just recharged AC so blows nice and cold now. Had to replace 6 disc CD changer with Sony single disc. New front brakes and rotors, air intake hose, air filter, front speaker. Tires have plenty of tread left. ABS light is on and has been since I bought it, looked it up and is likely rear sensor, have sensor just don't have tools to put it in. Other than that I have no problems with the vehicle, title in hand and local pickup only. Kbb $5200

How the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor became a reality

Ford's global performance vehicle chief engineer, accompanied by senior exterior designer Bruce Williams, sat down with the publication to discuss the concept and development of the automaker's super off-road F-150.
Designing a high-performance pickup in 2008, right when the cost of gasoline was going through the roof, seemed insane at the time, but the team pushed forward with the innovative vehicle regardless. The interview includes plenty of Ford B-roll footage as visual candy, and the conversations include discussions about exterior design, ride comfort, anti-lock brake tuning, suspension engineering, weight reduction and why it was necessary to make the Raptor visually different than Ford's standard F-150. Detroit automakers gain market share simultaneously for first time in 20 years
Wed, 01 May 2013While monthly sales figures might be an easy way of tracking the progression of the auto industry and individual automakers, looking at market share might be more indicative of how each company is actually standing up against its competitors. For the Detroit Three automakers, they have collectively lost almost 30 percent of the market over the last 20 years, but now, for the first time since 1993, Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have each posted market share gains at the same time.
According to Automotive News, Ford's share increased the most by 0.7 percent, GM was up 0.5 percent and Chrysler rose marginally by 0.2 percent, giving the Detroit automakers a total market share of 45.6 percent. As for the Japan's Big Three, the article reports that Toyota is up by 0.7 percent, Nissan is down the same amount and Honda has seen "little change."
